Single track trail shared between hikers and bikers. Signs at the trailhead indicate that bikes should yield to hikers. Please share the trail respectfully.

Trail was longer than listed. We even took cut throughs and it was longer.

This is a nice easy hike on a very meandering trail. The waterfall at the turnaround is lovely. Not too many hikers, but many many mountain bikers. We did not see a lot of wildlife but that could have been because of the time of year.

my dog and I got turned around a few times, but still a fun hike! The red trail had some gorgeous views compared to the yellow trail.

great trail. not many bikers out today. if you use the gps map, the gravel road cuts out the switch backs. even if you don't cut them out still a nice hike, creek all but dried up currently

Solid trail for hiking. I saw many deer during my hike. The trail could benefit by having some wildflowers, especially in Zack's Glade. That would attract butterflies to this open area. Not too many bikers on a Friday afternoon. Falls are more like of a sluice than actual falls. If you are into mountain biking, this is a great trail with many switchbacks.

Great trail with nice view up close of the falls. Beware of snakes on path, saw two of them. One small, one pretty large. Large one was a rattlesnake

Decent trail and nice waterfall at the turnaround point. One negative though is the multitude of mtn bikers who are seemingly unaware that bikers are supposed to yield to hikers. As a former biker, I will almost always yield to bikers because I understand that they like to keep their momentum but not a single biker made any effort to yield. One even yelled at me as he approached head on, expecting me to step aside. Another was stopped on the trail talking with another biker who I assume was his son. He saw me coming 30 yards away and started riding again. Had I not yielded he would have run me over. It was ironic reading the guide for young bikers posted at the trailhead which reminded young bikers to yield to hikers. I will say though that they were almost all unfailingly polite as they offered a “thank you” as they pedaled through. I do not recommend hiking this trail on weekends when the trails are open to bikes.

Same trail (different name!) as bear Creek and upper Wooten trail. Very pretty with all the recent rainfall.
