Short hike, but fun, also has a portion of the trail of tears along it.

This was an awesome little trail, took my nearly 4yo grandson and we had a blast, some good climbs but very fun, also did the arboretum trail which was interesting with the trees and there names, and the Austell trail which was definitely the most challenging of the three trails that we hiked today, the views were great during leaf off

This is a short, easy trail that loops around across the street from the visitor's center. There are numbered sign posts along the path where you can read about certain trees, etc from the trail brochure. There has been a little storm damage alongside the trail. The best part is the last stretch where you walk down a beautiful old, deep riverbed lined by trees above you on either side.
