Often called the Grand Canyon of France, this canyon-view track follows along the Verdon River. The trek starts out at Point Sublime and ends at Maline Chalet. There is ample parking for approximately 50 cars. Make sure to bring cash. If you complete the whole track, you will end the hike very far away from your car. You can choose to take a bus or a taxi back to the main parking lot, or take the bus initially and make the trek toward your parked car. The trek is long, but is for the most part along a shaded, wide path. There are many portions, however that are quite difficult including winding and narrow paths, little to no railing, and several very steep stairs. There are spots where a headlamp or flashlight is essential. Dogs are prohibited on this trail. Children are allowed, but it is recommended not to bring them as this is a long and challenging journey.
