somehow we took a few wrong turns in the beginning but once we figured out the way it's quite a nice trail. A little muddy in spots and fairly slippery today but overall was a nice hike.

Trail conditions are excellent for October. Very little mud. It’s the perfect distance for a late afternoon hike.

Like nice moderate track. It's still about a week away from full autumn collars. I would recommend

Great hike, great exercise. more towards the Difficult range with lots of steep ups and downs. I completed the south loop in 3.5 hours at a good pace with a couple of mindful stops at lookout points. Bugs were of very little concern but did go through some high grass so I would advise for a tick check for sure.

Pleasant walk although a bit muddy and somewhat overgrown. Highly recommend doing the south loop rather than the out and back- not much farther and quite nice part of the walk. Mostly forest walk- will be gorgeous in a few weeks when the colours change. Otherwise just a couple of pleasant look outs. Took 2.5 hours with. 20 minute break for lunch

Excellent technical trail. Recommend bringing walking sticks or poles, certainly not recommended for children. One of the best trails I’ve hiked yet

Great trail. Moderately difficult and a wide variety of different landscape features. Option to do just the shorter south loop or north and south loop together. Free entry and parking.

I forgot to turn the recorder off, so the straighy stretch at the very end is us driving away from the trail head! The trail was muddy in spots and very rocky, with a lot of scrambling up and down--a great workout for 3 kids and a dog! We saw two other groups with off-leash dogs, all well behaved and enjoying the fine weather. We only made it partway down the loop before turning back--I'd love to come back and plan ahead to make a longer day of it. The trail could stand to be better marked in spots and the posted maps are too beat up to be useful. A lovely, shady hike!

a beautiful trail with plenty of interesting features, similar to frontenac park with less traffic. some nice rock cliffs with drilled anchors for climbing.. havent tried the climbing yet but it doesn't look difficult
