Hard to find the trail sometimes. Muddy at times. Otherwise, a great short hike!

Easy hike and not crowded. You can easily get to the waters edge. With the right sun the water turns bright green.

This was a last quick hike before leaving Banff. It was pretty but the hike itself was just ok. The path is not well-marked in places and we found ourselves off trail at one point. Also mosquitos. You might bring a swimsuit so you can jump into the lake from some makeshift tree swings and what looks like a diving board.

A little wet in some spots, but not bad! A great little hike, I would definitely do this one again.

Beautiful lake and rest stop area. If you can, use the day use spots to relax and cook lunch or dinner at before or after going down to the lake. Amazing spot!
