great trail. we’ve done with a 5 and 6 yo children. moderately hard.

Really really beautiful hike. First there’s a descent to the tiny town of Roque Bermejo by the water. Gorgeous black sand beaches... Then an ascent to the lighthouse and further back to Chamorga. Amazing views, goats (including babies), and beautiful plants. Took me 3 hours including lunch, but I was walking really fast / trail running some parts.

The way was harder than i expected, but it is possible for completely unprepared ones.

This was a very nice hike with beautiful views of the coastline along the way. I started off in Taganana rather than Afur because the bus connection was better. I read before going that the trail from Afur down to the coast was closed, but fortunately an alternative path had been established so it wasn’t a problem :)

Be warned! This is for the most part not a path you follow, it is mostly a scramble in a general direction guided by the track in AllTrails. Not for novices. You will find your way and there are quite some cairns to help out, but you will be in trouble without gps. Even though it’s only 10k, and the altitude map doesn’t look scary this trail took us well over 4 hours.

It's a great track! The only advice is to make it clockwise and start with tunnel In this case last part will be not so pretty but you'll be glad to go down and take a rest)

I need a beer! 2hrs to the beach and around the corner (for a good view of the coastline) before turning back. Be aware the walk back from the beach is tough. moderate to hard. Take donuts and plenty of water. The beach is worth it though.

Great pretty easy hike through lava fields, there are some loose rocks, good shoes recomended. Very easy to follow, since there are land marks giving some information about the scenery. Great views of the ocean. Took 2.5 hours with few stops for pictures.

I turned around at the beach about half way through the hike instead of doing the full loop. This was to get a better view of the sunset, which was worth it. So I can only speak for the first half of the trail, which is really nice with great views of the coast the whole time.

Exciting trail! The tunnels (bring a torch!) get you in, and later out of, a beautiful valley. Finding the trail after the first tunnel is a bit of trial and error. At some point there’s a 3fork in the path and you’ll see a trail on the other side of the valley. Don’t be tempted to cross to the other side like we did; you’ll have to scramble your way down and back up to reach the 2nd tunnel (both tunnels are on the same side of the valley). The most tricky bit we found is getting down after the 2nd tunnel. Then follows a fantastic trail along the steep cliffs. Definitely not a trail for novices. As commented before; the last stretch from Los Gigantes back to Tamaimo is a boring steady climb, however the tunnels, valley and cliff trail make it well worth it.

Okay trail, however if you’re in the area and haven’t walked the Mount Guajara trail I’d recommend that one instead. This trail: absolutely stunning views from El Sombrero. The otherwise not that impressing route is probably still worth it for that view. The way there is not that hard physically, but there are a few moments when locating the path can be a challenge. The way back offers an alternative route, which we took. Again some challenging sections where everything could be the trail. Keep an eye on the map as well as the ‘stone stacking waypoints’ and you’ll be fine.

Wonderful trail! Stunning views of an unreal landscape. Unlike others, we walked the loop clockwise. Perhaps this makes the trail easier on the legs - the way we walked it I would rate it ‘moderate’. A point of attention: to leave the summit the route in AllTrails shows a path that I suspect no longer exists (we used a good 20 minutes trying to find it but only found steep drops). No problem though as there’s an alternative; from the summit backtrack a little and take a right when you can, it’s clearly marked, you’ll later on merge with the route that’s indicated in the app.

The Montana Blanca hike is very easy. It wasn’t planned, but I ended up going to the top of Mt Teide, which is hard, but can definitely be recommended.

wonderful hike. The views are incredible. You have to cross two tunnels. Be careful if you are not a good hiker. the part of the trail on the cliffs close to the sea is a bit narrow

Très belle randonnée dans le cirque du Teide. Nous vous recommandons de commencer par le dénivelé le plus abrupte si vous préférez la descente moins raide.

This was a very nice hike with great views along the whole route. Especially the view to Mt Teide from the top. I took a slightly different route. After about 2.5 km the route said to go left. I couldn’t see this track so I turned right instead, which was a very nice path. I can definitely recommend this hike :)

Fine trail, with a few steep climbing sections. Hardly any shade, which was no problem today in January but definitely bring an extra liter of water in summer.
