This is a short trail that pretty much all the tourists do, but it is none the less scenic for that. Stunning views in all directions, including Teide on Tenerife over 90 miles away. No special kit needed. You're at the highest point on the island so let's face it, you're going to do it anyway!

Great views on this easy and short walk. Very quiet as well. Although forest has serious damage from 2019 wildfires (little small vegetation and many black trees) it is still great to walk here. Ignore the Apple Maps road=closed signals.

Unusual walk right around the caldera, mostly with volcanic gravel under foot. Some lovely views from the peaks in a walk that would easily be achieved by most people. The walk is perfectly safe, though could be a little challenging if you get bad vertigo, but well worth the effort.

About the signing: you can't be mistaken. If you go clockwise just follow Don Pedro (a small village 50m above sealevel. Going back follow la Zarza. To me it was a little bit dissapointing. It has a bit of both: nature and culture (in the sense of everyday la Palma-life) but not cold be better. But it's a good exercise :-) and for instance the riverbed at the beginning is nice.

OK if you're already in the area, but really not worthy of a trip especially. The "river" is entirely dried up and overgrown. Better sticking with the Caldera hike just to the East.

Great trail. If you go there on a sunday, bring something to barbecue at the startlngpoint together with the locals

Breathtaking views and not that many people on the tracks once you’ve left the parkinglot

One of the best trails of the island on a great volcanic landscape.

Great descent of the Pico Bejanado. Great views along the way and awesome views of the caldera at the top. Be sure to go a little bit further at the top for an amazing 270° view. Would rate this hike as Moderate to hard (but not difficult).

easy trail with nice (but not great unobstructed) views. If you do the longer hikes nearby you can skip this one.

Great hike with good views of the caldera, nice descent on the reventon and good walk through the Angustias gulch.

Route known as "The Cane", is the part of the GR131of La Palma, which runs by sections in all the islands. Normally it is done in 4 days to avoid carrying a large amount of water that is scarce in the summit areas through which the route runs. This time it was done in two days and a few hours, as a result of joining days and bring all the water necessary to be independent of the supply points, in part to save time, partly in case there was no water in the possible places. It is a spectacular route in everything: different landscapes, substrata, height, vegetation. With hardness accessible to all (depending on how you do it) and that I recommend to all who enjoy the great trails. La Palma is a privileged place and the La Palma inhabitans have been able to take care of their natural heritage as to enjoy the whole island.
