One of the most fun adventurous hike in my experience (almost too fun). Do not know why it’s rated as “moderate”, because it is definitely hard. Mileage, elevation gain, plus short sections of class 4 and 5 climbing. There is a traverse section where I recommend bringing a harness to clip to the cables. I traversed without it, but I wish I had one (I’m a rock climber). Great views though! Trail is mostly easy to follow, but I found myself off-trail several times. Bring enough water or a water filter (there is a stream), and give yourself enough time to fully enjoy it

Whooh, just finished this trek, was quite a challenge :D It recorded 20.5km actually but I think it was worth it, although it was tiring. Took us exactly 8h with stops to eat and take photos. The going up part was not as busy, although we did meet some people even through it was early morning. It's a bit steep but good because after you finish climbing up there is not much climbing left and you can simply enjoy the beautiful views. On the way back the terrain is easy so a lot more people were there.

Was a really beautiful hike, definitely recommend it! It's got mountains, a tiny waterfall and amazing views. It took us exactly 4h to finish it including the stops to eat and take photos. We walked clockwise and I would recommend the same as going down is less steep that way, plus the finish is flat which is very rewarding after the hike :D

continued up until cola de cabalo. bear in mind it was with a toddler on a carrier backpack - so lower pace and more stops then usual

This is as good of a hike as one can ever go on. Truly one to remember the rest of your life, it has it all, high altitude narrow passes, beautiful vistas and a section in which you scramble up and around a sheer rock face using nothing but metal spikes hammered into the rock (I would highly recommend a harness for this section as there is no ground beneath you, and we were told by a local guide that it’s not uncommon for people to die on this section of the hike). Spanish signage and overall trail markers are pretty poor, which potentially causes you to go up wrong dead end paths (leaving you stranded on a cliff’s edge unable to retreat, don’t make the same mistake we did). If you can get over fears of heights and near death experiences, this hike is the best thing you’ll ever do outdoors. They don’t call this region of the Pyrenees the Grand Canyon of Europe for nothing, the views (and constant peril) will take your breath away. If you only have time for one hike in the Pyrenees, this is the one!!

A great hike! The trail offers beautiful views of the ordesa valley in the first half. In the second half it follows the rio d'ara in the valley through meadows and a forest. The scenery is awesome, the trail is not to difficult and it is possible to walk with a slight scare of hights. Unfortunately there is a lot of traffic on this trail.

Great loop hike! It's a steep climb up and a steep decent but once you get to the top it's pretty much flat as you walk around the mountain and take in the gorgeous views of the valley. There is a short easy Via Ferrata on a portion and at least two parts where you will have to climb up some large boulders but they have steel pegs to assist you. Well marked at both starts but gets a little tricky to find the right path towards the top. Would definitely do this again!

Ruta preciosa y asequible para toda la familia hasta el ibon, recomiendo hacer un esfuerzo y seguir hasta el arco geotecnico pero el camino es más sufrido, pero merece la pena

This is a beautiful walk the gives you what Victor Hugo describes as the “colosseum of nature”. The trail is easily walked with the steep ascent taking about 90 minutes and then majestic views of the valley. The descents generally and easy trail that does not punish the knees or legs too much. But you need to start the walk as if you are heading back to Torla so you do it in a clockwise direction. I loved this walk, enjoy.

This is a great trail with wonderful views of the Ordesa valley. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone with a very good fitness level and no fear of hights. However, the ascent at the beginning of the trail is very steep. The terrain is very rough and rocky, and partly quite dangerous as well. After the ascent/lookout point, the walk is indeed quite pleasant. But don’t underestimate this trail! I would rate it as HARD rather than moderate.

A well developed trail with lots of signs. Pretty crowded up to the falls. Spectacular views!

Beautiful! Hiked in clockwise direction, there's beauty around every corner. Our favourite hike to date (3-okt 2019).
