Beautiful hike and views from the top. A resident goat as well. Also, the scrambling is only at the very top so bring a trekking pole for the hike down but nothing dangerous if you can prepared.

A nice trail with two very satisfying summits each with great views. The trail is labeled as 'easy' but it has some really steep scrabbly sections. Luckily we brought our poles but even then I slipped a few times. I have to admit that we did accidentally did the trail backwards and that might have made a difference. (Backwards according to how the all trails elevation guide reads) Most of the trail is on the north/west side of the hill. We started out around 11am in January and most of the trail was in the shade with a bit of a chill. Also, be prepared to lose the trail in a few places but it is super easy to see where you need to go and to recover the trail.

Amazing trail! Accessible trail and nice view points !

We absolutely loved the hike, it had some amazing views and was fantastic to get out of the busy city. We did however think it was a 16km round walk and were a bit surprised that it was actually 16km one way and 32km there and back from Granada. However it didn’t matter because it was a great hike. Would absolutely recommend this hike, definitely bring water, snacks and tissues...

Ruta espectácular por las playas y calas de San José. Vistas preciosas.

very beautiful and tranquil place. protected from the winds and bathed in light. Cavemen never had it so good as when they lived here. i was overcome with the urge to roll out a mat and tag a map it was so peaceful.

Excellent trail and 2nd half has a gentle grade up

Great trail. Mostly ankle deep water some sections with almost knee deep water. A little rock climbing in the end. All in all lot's of fun.

Great views. Well marked until the top and then becomes harder to navigate but with the app it’s okay. Can be very windy.

Fantastic trail that scales away from the crowds and above Caminito Del Rey (known as the King's Little Path in English on Alltrails.) The King's Little Path is famous and has great views while in the gorge, but you are on a platform with a helmet and crowds. This path rises above the gorge with amazing views of the gorge, the river, and the surrounding dams. At the midway overlook you reach the nesting grounds of the rarely seen golden eagles and local vultures and can watch them soar by you close enough to touch. Be cautious, there is no railing here. In November, one sees and smells wild rosemary, thyme, and oregano along the trail. There is a small tunnel at the end (or start if you do this route backwards) and it can be done without a headlamp or flashlight but it would not hurt to have one or simply use your phone flashlight the 50 meters.

I absolutely loved this hike. We went begin November so we’re lucky to be spoiled with beautiful autumn colors. We did the hike in very cloudy and rainy weather but even then the views were stunning. Not to heavy, but not always good marked (We used the app a few times to check if we were right).

Nice trail for 2.5h hike. Interesting path with pine trees, rocks for kids to play.

Absolutely stunning trail most of the time. From south to north, in the right season, lots of wildflowers and enough variation in fauna and flora. Interesting historical features along the way, and cafes and albergues aplenty. Enjoyed this 7-8 week walk/hike very much. Didn’t find it hard overall but there were certainly some tough sections. Most of the trail very good to walk on, with only some rocky or after rain sticky mud sections. Moderate amount of on-road walking involved which we found harder on our feet than anything else.

Excellent! Did the reverse hike and only went about halfway, but the views are incredible

Very good. Take the south path along the road — the waterfalls are in the east path and I think they would have been more enjoyable at the end rather than the beginning.
