Good hiking....... many trails. Easy to get lost if you don’t properly plan your route.

Nice easy hike. Not much of an elevation change (lake hike, duh). However, the lake is nice, plenty of ducks & Moore Hens. Good for families.

Challenging Hike due to elevation gain and distance (if you choose to my route). There are many trails and route variations, giving you plenty of opportunities to make this long hike even longer. (Ask me how I know) ; ) Make sure your phone is fully charged or bring a compass. There are multiple peaks and many astonishing views. There was snow at the higher elevations.

This review is for a smaller interval of the full Buraksan Hike: I did this 1.5 mile (3 miles out-and-back) hike from Buraksan K2 to Buraksan Mountain Forest Experience Center (Obstacle Course) over rolling terrain. The Experience Center costs between 4,000-6,000 won and has two large (free) parking lots. I started near K2 since it’s closer to my house, but commuters would be well advised to park near the Experience center.

Great hike, you gotta go to the top. It’s my 3rd hike in the park.

Steep and sustained start to an overall very pleasant hike. Not too crowded for the most part, and plalenty of variations for shorter /longer hikes

Not too busy forest trail. Shaded for the lost part. Both clockwise and counter clockwise can be done with the latter providing steeper ascents at shorter intervals. Overall a nice day out

Nice little trail with many routes to take. Well shaded, easy enough to bring kids. Some of it is a path with wooden walk ways and other parts are just beaten by foot. Could easily spend only 30 minutes here, or 3 hours depending on how you walk it.

This was a fun trail and good for our family whose youngest member is three years old. There are some dangerous places without ledges that could be harmful if one fell down. We did not see a single hiker until around 8 AM and there seems to be quite a few places for wild camping, but of course, fires are not permitted. We hiked very slowly and with lots of stops. An adult hiking at the typical 5 km/h could’ve done this loop in around 30 to 45 minutes.

VERY EASY TO FIND ON WAZE. Nice casual trail if you are looking to spend some time in nature while staying local to the Camp Humphreys/ Osan area. If you park in the lot you might have to pay, they only accept card, but if you drive a little pass the lot you can see where tons of people just park on the street to avoid paying. The trail was a little crowded but everyone was respectful and moved out of the way if I was going faster than them. If you bring your dog I have a few tips: 1. The trail gets pretty tight in some places so pay attention to if anyone is coming. Most people when they see you have a dog will move over and wait for you to pass but some did not. 2. Bring plenty of poop bags! Also bring something to throw them out in because I could not find any trash cans along the route so I ended up having to carry bags of poo by hand. For some reason my dog always wants to go before we get a half mile in so I ended up carrying poop for 90 percent of the hike! Like I said good casual place if you are looking to get in the woods for a bit but the views were not really all that

Good hike for conditioning. It's fairly steep in the beginning but once you get on the top you pretty much weave up and down along the ridge. Stay on the paths and the bugs won't bother you that much but there are still the annoying few that buzz around. There's also the biggest outdoor gym I've ever seen here!

Started to do trail but thunderstorms stopped our progress. Definitely more of a walk than a hike

very hard! bring lots of water and be ready for rocks.
