The trail is mostly built out with stone steps, staircases, and bridges. The view at the top is gorgeous!

Great hike, mostly stairs all the way up but beautiful surroundings. The summit is incredible. Make sure you spend an extra hour hiking around the top exploring the area.

Fairly confusing per the map. Got lost a few times. Nice views though.

A fairly easy trail. The first half or so was all well maintained path so rather easy. It only gets challenging if you go off path to get to some of the rocky peaks. Great views of Seoul, Sadang etc.

This review is for a smaller interval of the full Buraksan Hike: I did this 1.5 mile (3 miles out-and-back) hike from Buraksan K2 to Buraksan Mountain Forest Experience Center (Obstacle Course) over rolling terrain. The Experience Center costs between 4,000-6,000 won and has two large (free) parking lots. I started near K2 since it’s closer to my house, but commuters would be well advised to park near the Experience center.

Went on a clear day and the view of Seoul was excellent. Not a really difficult hike, more or less a staircase all the way up. The temple near the top is awesome as well

Good hike, was rainy and foggy, but good view on a clear day I could imagine.

The view is phenomenal on the way up and coming down was vas very peaceful with the sound of the stream. It took us 4h30 to do the whole trail with many short stops and a long stop at the summit.

VERY EASY TO FIND ON WAZE. Nice casual trail if you are looking to spend some time in nature while staying local to the Camp Humphreys/ Osan area. If you park in the lot you might have to pay, they only accept card, but if you drive a little pass the lot you can see where tons of people just park on the street to avoid paying. The trail was a little crowded but everyone was respectful and moved out of the way if I was going faster than them. If you bring your dog I have a few tips: 1. The trail gets pretty tight in some places so pay attention to if anyone is coming. Most people when they see you have a dog will move over and wait for you to pass but some did not. 2. Bring plenty of poop bags! Also bring something to throw them out in because I could not find any trash cans along the route so I ended up having to carry bags of poo by hand. For some reason my dog always wants to go before we get a half mile in so I ended up carrying poop for 90 percent of the hike! Like I said good casual place if you are looking to get in the woods for a bit but the views were not really all that

Favorite hike in Seoul. Multiple routes to ascend and descend at Seoul National, Sadang and Gwacheon. Enjoy a bottle of makgeolli at the summit!~

Good hike for conditioning. It's fairly steep in the beginning but once you get on the top you pretty much weave up and down along the ridge. Stay on the paths and the bugs won't bother you that much but there are still the annoying few that buzz around. There's also the biggest outdoor gym I've ever seen here!

Today I have started from Dongpyeon-maul apartment complex 4 and reached at Gwansang-water spring which took me about 40mins. It is okay route even for a hopeless-physical-ability person like me.

Fun trail with more difficult or easier paths to choose that got you to the same destination. Well maintained. Very clean. The water point at the midway was excellent. A place with plenty of space to explore on multiple visits.

I loved this trail. Grate way to get my dog to exercise with some shade.

I took a different route back what I can really advice. The hike is lovely, but the advertised hike is very busy. The alternative route is not much longer and brings you past bunkers and has fewer stairs. It's challenging but very doable.

Not sure which TH I started at but instead of taking the valley trail, I started to the left of it. Ended up climbing big boulders and taking cliff side trails. Nonetheless, I made it to Gwanaksan Peak and up to Yeonjedu Peak. At least that's what I tell myself. Bring poles, bug spray and gloves if you plan on taking my trail going up. Otherwise, poles recommended if you take on the valley trail. Met another hiker who asked me why the heck I am climbing up on that trail. Usually people climb up the valley trail and climb down the trail I was on. Oh well... Lots of shade, beautiful vibrant flowers. Well maintained, not too much traffic being it a Sunday and I started after 1 pm. Didn'get done until 8 pm. Beautiful on top, 360 degree views!

i like this, mrs likes it. easy starter for someone who took a long paused from hiking. trail can be long if you like to go all the way. in between rest at halfway point is a rest area.

Very tough but rewarding hike. Trailhead begins at banditburi “firefly” toilet (public restroom)

Great trail. Easy parking. Well marked with a water and restroom around the halfway mark.

There is even a spot that has zip line and fun climbing course.

was a great view and challenging

beautiful landscape, well maintained trails, I highly recommend to bring a walking stick and stretch lower limbs, you will be doing a bunch of high stepping on uneven terrain uphill. Super friendly people.

Easy to access from the train station and had multiple paths to descend the top! We went down by Seoul National University so we could have new views on the way down. Heavily trafficked, but beautiful views and well maintained. Hand rails or ropes and curated stairs make for a safe walk up to the temple at the top!

Been running and biking these trails for 2 years. Biking is better on weekdays or US holidays; weekends and SK holidays bring large numbers of hikers. Trail forks usually head down towards communities and roads, check KAKAO map app for these trails. There are many miles trails just to the east of this system, a huge 19 mile loop, with about 3 miles of farm road connections.

Beautifully maintained water and restrooms on trail that a clean and maintained. They even have bug spray stations for free. Long hike take plenty of water. Saw some mountain biking but mostly hikers. Dogs on leashes

Easily accessible, can be either a quick and easy trail or you can go for a long hike. Does get a little annoyingly crowded, but the proximity to Osan Air Base makes it worth while.

Great hiking! Not too crowded, and can choose whether to make it a little more f Difficult or not(: had a great time!

excellent trail! walked there from Osan Air Base. it was a little tough finding the entrance. but once we got on the trail everything was fine. there was plenty of splits on the path where you can choose the tough way or the easy way. once we made it to the end, the view wasn't bad. on the way back we decided to take another route and got a little lost, so the signs could have been a little easier to understand.. but maybe that's the american in me. all in all.. GREAT TRAIL
