Heavily wooded in some sections, interesting intersects through local waterways.

Quite hard towards the top. And especially coming down. But very pretty views. And peaceful.

Not the easiest of a moderate walk - a few bits I elected to come down on my bottom - but well worth the view

I am so thankful that I took this hike today. I did an extended loop starting at the switchback trail at the road. I had to jog to beat the sunset, it gets dark, especially when you go through the pine forest. The water falls are stunning and the views of the highland hills are awesome. Not sure, but I think part of this might be in a closed area, I had to hop a steel gate. Trail was clear with decent climbs. The app indicated 6.6 miles, I clocked around 5.5? I would give yourself about 2-3 hrs so that you can enjoy the views.

Very nice, easy walk, not many people around, one section quite muddy in wet weather conditions and mountain bikers who are using this trail as well are turning it into dirt tracks, so walking sticks are a good idea to take with you. Nice views when further uphill and not cloudy. Ample car parking, a day ticket is atm £3. Enjoyed the walk a lot.

Another top notch hike in Scotland! A short walk to the falls. We followed previous reviews and decided to walk to the edge of the forest and turn around. Very wet and mucky but very unique with different types of scenery!

Amazing hike! You can definitely notice a temperature change between the hidden valley below and the summit of Ben A’an. Bring layers and waterproof footwear because it was quite wet. Full stars for this one. Also bring change for parking at the bottom! £3 for the day.

Stunning views and an easy hike through forest and some highlands. The waterfalls at the beginning and cows at the end were definite highlights.

A lovely very easy route. Very beautiful scenery: there’s an incredible river you cross over at the beginning followed by a pine tree plantation. It ended off with a walk along a farm road with many hairy coos along the way! It was a well marked, easy trail. I would recommend it for a short late- afternoon stroll

An amazing hike with breathtaking views. The first climb off the Highland Way is STEEP and doesn't follow a path so keep a close eye on this route. this pretty much continues until rejoining the path over the last 3 miles. But you can join up the peaks. The last peak is now fenced off like a nature reserve but you can follow the perimeter round to the left. Our conditions were glorious sunshine but still a little boggy underfoot across all the tops so out of season would be very boggy.
