Great view, the trail is a bit challenging in the end but worth it. It is a relatively short trail, from the car to the top took us aroud 30 minutes. Do not recomend if rained the day before or if rain is predicted, the trail gets extremely slippery and you will fall (is not called "Pico Rodadero" for nothing). The road is narrow, locals are already familiar with the road so they tend to go fast and will not give you a heads up. Parking is limited for 3 vehicles max, its basically in the front yard of a house. The people that live there are super nice and sale some food and bevareges but don't go counting on that. If you plan on staying over night it gets horrifically cold so be warned. It is not kid friendly, there are some plants similar to poison ivy and the last part of the trail concists on going up a very steep and slippery area with the help of a cable that isn't very trusty at all. The area where people take the pictures on a hanging rock is very difficult to get to, you have to climb up the side of the rocks to then manuver your way through to the small spot where the famous rock is. Extremely beautiful view from there, like you're at the edge of the world.

I advice a 4x4 vehicle to get to the begining of the trail cause the roads are broken. It is a little steep and rocky but beautiful and peaceful. Good for the nature loving and adventure seeking people

Along the river walk in Bosque Estatal Toro Negro. Route #8 on the map

Pretty to see for the difference in colors but it’s not a pleasant hike ... trashy

Nice bird watching walking trail. A little hot and humid.
