The drive to Kjeragbolten is worth the trip alone! Very busy but an awesome hike.

Short hike but very steep slippery rocks

This hike can be hard - but the view from the top is worth it. Some steep parts, and many other parts where you will gain a lot of height. Remember good walking boots. Parts of the trail can be a bit muddy.

Rocky trail, short but difficult, very slippery when wet I do not recommend under heavy rainfall. You do not see the Lysefjorden much during the hike but get some nice views along the way. The ultimate goal and reward is Kjeragbolten

Amazing hike!! Lots of ups and downs and very windy. Use the ropes! The boulder is massive and the view of the fjord is phenomenal!

beautiful. first section is the hardest, after that it gets much easier

Amazing experience. Can be dangerous in wet misty weather.

Best one so far.

Randonnées pas si difficile que cela ! Je ne suis pas parti du parking (pour pas payer 30€) et la pat contre le sentier ne se trouve pas facilement.

Stunning hike and the rock is a must for a photo op. Difficult trail and chains to guide you up steep rock for a good portion of the trip. Good lunch spot at the trailhead.

Tough climb, but very satisfying when you finally make it.

Hiked up the first half with a headlamp, tented at the top for the night, then fished the hike to Kjeragbolten and back to the trail/restaurant parking lot in the morning. Going up the mountainsides and down into the valleys can take a lot out of you even on a shorter distance hike, but the views are immensely worth the trek (as life is ;]).

Today the weatherforcast was some rain nd wind. At higher levels it was sometimes cold and slippery Near the boulder te rain was gone and I could step upon it. The hike back was sometimes more difficult than the way to the boulder. Also a nice moment to meet other hikers.

The parking spot where this trip begins, can be difficult to see from the main rouad. Take a good look at the map, before you drive! From the parking post, it's some ascent before it levels out, but be prepared for up and down on the way. From the top, there's a great view. We took a detour, so that the tour wasn't all inn and out the same way. Note, there are parts of the trail that can be muddy.

Awesome hike. Weather was a little wet. Bring 2 pairs of gloves. One to get wet and climb with and one to warm up your frozen fingers lol
