Great trail!!!!!! Best adventure of my life Lived in Wellington since I was 3 and only just made the trip.. 10/10 will be back, great sunny day for it and a nice quiet walking track with minimal traffic.

Easy loop trails with the kids in Trelissick park stayed close to river then picked up Northern walkway

Follow the trail using the turbine trail, it runs along side of the fence to Zealandia. Nice view from the turbine and the track is ok, up & down - got a little lost at the top so returned the same way back.

Very steep and slippery at places. Wear grippy shoes. Great workout.

Do it on a sunny day and enjoy the spectacular views of the southern coast. Take wind jackets as it is usually pretty windy there. We did the full loop track in about 2hrs with our kids so would rate that track easy to moderate.

Great trail for pack carrying a toddler. There are regular rest areas with seating which makes changes so much easier. The trail itself has fantastic views and is well maintained.

Did this trail clockwise on solo (highly recommend going in pairs or more), the climb was easy, just be mindful of loose rocks. The trail going down from the quarry peak is full of thorny plants, be prepared to be scratched and pricked, this a very steep trail and you might have to slide on your bum. It was a fun trail overall with breathtaking views! Stick to the trail!

WARNING /only 1 star to catch your attention/ the scenary is great (stuning views, seals, river) BUT you need to be aware : the last section (we walked clockwised), for about 2km the track is full of gorse prickles !!! We couldn't hardly see the track and some were even higher than us.. and if you wear a short (like me) good luck ! scratches and irritations ;) And some parts are very steep with loose rocks... We couldn't stand up... funny but can be dangerous. It was wild and we loved it but it is better to be aware of that ! Also, I think it is worth it, while you walk along the coast, before turning right into the mountain, to reach the Devil's gate. It took us 3h hours to do the loop (devil's gate included). So this place is amazing but I wouldn't recomand to take this exact track.

park on Glenmore St and head up St. Mary St for the proper start of the walk. Nice variety of surface, definitely not too challenging. Took our time, stopped to enjoy the view and was still easily done in 2.25 hours.

I’d say this trail is more easy then moderate, take the left path to finish the walk with sea views and rockpooling - great walk in the sunshine

good track. a little harder than "moderate"if you are not that fit OR not used to hill walking. watch out for mountain bikers.

nice track, not too crowded and walking along the coastline is always great. great spot to have lunch halfway and watch ths kitesurfers ripping around.

Always beautiful and gentle. The birds are amazing and the wooded paths are energising.

Trail was beautiful, and we got to see tons of sea lions!

great walk for the dogs and myself, nice and easy.
