Nice trail with lots of beatiful beaches and lookouts. We took the shortcut via the low tide track.

The signs at the start say this track lasts 5 hours but we did it in less than 3 with 45 minutes stopping. The beginning is a bit hard, but very good to do for fit people. Would not rate this walk as hard. Beautiful walk through forests, overlooking the lakes and mountains in the back!

Balade très sympa, surtout le passage le long du canal. Commencer la boucle dans le sens inverse des aiguilles d'une montre pour profiter du paysage

Great tramp - we did it in one day as a loop starting/finishing at the car park, up Pinchgut track and down Speargrass. It was an amazing hike but I do not recommend doing it the way we did. Firstly the Pinchgut/Roberts Ridge Route was far superior to the Speargrass which is kind of boring really, a lot of forest and a lot of stream crossings. If I were to do it again (which I will!) I’d stay in Angelus Hut overnight and come back down the way we went up. The views are incredible, the track is well formed until you get onto the actual ridge which I would describe as rocky and exposed - if you are not familiar with exposed ridges and rough terrain I would not attempt this walk in poor weather conditions. In fine weather you will be absolutely fine with a relatively modest level of experience.

Able Tasman is just wonderful.

This Great Walk is very impressive. Although very busy (most popular walk in NZ) the walk is very easy and appropriate for all ages and fitness levels.

Brilliant Great Walk and a very easy, slow 4/5 days. It is well maintained, plus the huts and camping are all clean and well managed. Each day the scenery is different, alpine, rocky terrain, jungle and coast!

I’m 31, my weight is 49 kg and I don’t usually exercise; I consider it to be a very hard trail. At first it’s kinda (not really) smooth, but then it quickly gets harder because it’s upway all the time, so it requieres a good physical condition unless you wanna go really slow and spend 8 hours there. The last piece until the parachute rocks is steep and hard, and lots of loose stones. The view there is nice. Then there’s one last piece you can do to get to the highest point and see the other side view (which is ok but not nicer than the first one), and it takes like 20, 25 minutes, VERY steep (BLOODY) and demanding, you kinda wanna die at that point. The way down is hard too because of the loose stones and it takes a long time. Overall it’s an awesome trail because it’s very natural, lots of trees and the lake view is really cool, but it’s important to consider its difficulty. I recommend cooling your feet off in the lake at the end.

Incredible beach at the end but walking over the rocky beach was fairly intense. I went at low tide and the route wasn’t well marked. If you’re wondering, it’s just a scramble over the rocks. There is a toilet at the end and in the parking lot which is great but keep in mind there is no potable water so bring plenty with you!

This is a decent short walk. Epic views from the summit. It is a pretty steep track but good for the fit and keen. We did the loop in just over two hours but tend to move faster than most trampers. I'd recommend it to anyone that wants a shorter walk but with excellent views and a bit of leg burn.

Un treck vraiment intéressant. Difficile mais très satisfaisant d’arriver au top de la montagne

https://www.doc.govt.nz/parks-and-recreation/places-to-go/nelson-tasman/places/kahurangi-national-park/things-to-do/tracks/mount-arthur-summit/ Super windy when we went, but the views were fantastic. Lots of tracks in the area. Road to the car park was an adventure.

Great and wonderful track! A nice climb in it and stunning beaches!

Track starts off in beech trees before steepening above the bush line offering spectacular views of Lake Rotoiti. Be sure to continue past Parachute Rocks to the ridgeline which opens up views to the west. Challenging climb but worth the effort.
