Very nice route, diverse sights and a lot of wildlife to see.

Good trail for beginners cyclist or families with kids. Easy road, good pavement, low incline. Beautiful park, find it bit boring but very beautiful. Might be slippery during rainy day.

Mooie wandeling in een rustig waterrijk gebied met rustige grote grazers die ontzag inboezemen .

The trail is mostly easy. However some parts are made of loose sand which can be a bit challenging. The scenery is nice but not spectacular though halfway there is a stretch along the beach. The trail runs mostly through a conservation area for which a ticket is mandatory (ranging from € 1,80 per day to € 12,50 per person per year). There is a vending machine near the parking lot at the start or the trail and one when leaving Bergen aan Zee (if you do the trail clockwise (which I would recommend). Or tickets can be purchased on-line at Pwn.nl/natuur/duinkaart . In the conservation area you can find wild horses and wild cattle. Dogs must be on a leash.

Redid the trail with a slight variation to catch more climbing in the last 3 kms. Saw a lot of wildlife today: wild horses, bizons, deer and birds

From Zandvoort aan Zee train station to Santpoort Noord train station: a hike across the beach, the hilly dunes and the forest of Kennemerland National park. Expect unpaved trails with loose dune sand; Few short climbs, nowhere too steep.

Nice path also for smaller kids.

Very nice weekday hike with hardly anybody around, except few people by the lake Oosterplas. Herd of sheep resting in the shade. Will be back soon with childcarrier and kids

Te veel mensen/joggers en honden zijn niet toegestaan zelfs niet aan de leash.. {moest mijn hond in de auto laten}

Not to hard to do. Kind of flat trail. Some of it was forrest. Some dunes an some open spaces. Many deer and woodpeckers. Busy trail with many people At least the weather was great.

It's a nice ride for a bike tour, which shows you a typical Dutch landscape with cows and sheep, vast grass lands, skies and clouds, and lots of water. It's also possible to do this route by rollerblading, but it's less convenient as a walking trail.

Beetje winderig, de route dan

Nice route, unfortunately all over tarmac. The little boat ride over the Amstel is great though.

I took a 30 minute train from Amsterdam to this park early July.. it was spectacular! There’s so many walking, biking, and horse back riding trails that all criss cross each other. The little beach area is very clean, intimate, and offers some shade. The multiple biomes that are present are all so distinct. Definitely not a very strenuous hike, but there were some sand dune hills to traverse that got your heart rate up! Definitely recommend this National Park for anyone who wants to get outta the city and retreat into the wilderness!

Aardige route, maar was een beetje modderig.

Great sights - the canal tour is a must!!

I lived in de Pijp for 3 years before moving to the US... great memories. This walking tour is great! It describes some buildings close to my old house that I never paid any attention to. I hope to go back soon and follow this tour.
