This trail is definitely closed. If you want to go to the Ampang reservoir you need to look for the Bukit Kembara Trail Head.

Epic. Covered about 20km there and back. Serious workout that just gets harder toward the end. The summit is not that special, no view to speak of, but its a gorgeous ancient rainforest all the way up. Take 3litres of water or more plus snacks and sugar.

Enjoy

please bring along your insect repellent. there is a-lot of mosquitos along the trail. You need to come early as parking spot is limited and you need to park your car along the road.

The easiest trail. Beautiful waterfall. Went into the water and the strong water feels like massage on the back. Natural jacuzzi.

As a beginner and my third time using the map, this route is great especially since i get to know all the shortcuts

Rover track is closed indefinitely... the canopy walk is closed too to give rest to the trees... the other trails in frim requires frim guide to enter... basically can only walk along the tarred road and the picnic area at the waterfall

Thoroughly enjoyed the trail. Would recommend for anyone living / visiting KL and wanting to spend a couple of hours away from all of the hustle and bustle without having to travel too far. And the small lake at the end of the trail makes the effort all worth while. Steep climb at beginning of trail and steep decent to lake at end of trail probably not suitable for very young children, especially after rain. However, the trail well trodden, and easy to follow, and rope guides have been hung from the trees on the steeper sections. Look out for small shrine by the side of road for beginning of ascent at beginning.

Park and trail is closed for renovations until 31.1.2020. There was no work done today being Christmas and some kind fellow hikers assured us that it was safe to go in despite the signage at the trail head. It was a lovely hike and only get steep in the last bit to the viewing ledge. Worth the climb. If you are law abiding go after 31.1.2020.

Moderate incline through tropical forest about an hour by car from KL and ending at a waterfall thats well worth a dip, so bring a small towel to dry off before the return leg. Mosquitos and bugs were fine, but I did need a good 2-3 litres of water, some haribo, and be careful coming back down theres lots of small boulders and roots to twist your ankles.

A nice trail hiking to a wonderful fall. Crystal clear pristine water awaits you. Natures gift to everyone Note: we took a river and river bank trail to reach the fall, which is a little challenging than usual trail route. We wanted some extra challenge!

Insane trail. Amazing fun, but not for beginners. The way we went we had to smear ourselves in mud to stop the mosquito hell. Climb was crazy mud steps and muddy slopes but not too long and got to a peak. To the right was a rope to climb to the higher peak (tough climb but worth it). We stopped for a while for photos and drinks at the top of the mid peak. On the way back there were many rocky and risky edges to climb over and on the descent much of it was ropes to hold to because the decline was insane and a fall would be a serious injury. The forest swamp started to become more consuming again toward the last 20mins and vines were beautiful. WELL WORTH THE EFFORT FOR THE VIEWS! We saw nobody the whole time check out the pics
