Amazing trail! Gorgeous views! Pretty easy track. Can be done with kids and dogs. There is a parking and many restaurants on the start/end.

This is a beautiful hike. Very sad about the storm taking all those beautiful trees down. You walk along a peaceful little creek and the hike is not difficult till you reach a spectacular rainbow lake

I’d recommend this trail for everyone, but there is a 1km technical sector. Also, due to a storm, there some sectors you need to off road for a while

Moderate difficulty trail with ample rewards. Prepare for killer views :-) Very much recommended. Note: some trail markings are easy to miss, watch out!

It’s a lovely lake. But it’s not worth driving many hours out of your way to go see. Theres no swimming here. It’s very developed with pay parking (we paid 2 euros for about an hour) very nice clean bathrooms, cafe and bar. The views of the mountains are spectacular but in July 2019 you see clearcut and construction in most directions. Trail is an easy gravel stroll. Very crowded as expected. Some people even biking (I would think it’s not allowed but who knows) on the trail. This was our first stop in the Dolomites. Looking forward to better views/hikes ahead.

Great hike and beautiful views. Snow gets about 3ft deep at one point snowshoes recommended but not needed. Made it to summit without any. Cold and windy at top compared to bottom. 2.5 hours.

This is a very easy hike through the largest, high alpine meadow in all of Europe. The Alpe di Siusi (Italian) or Seiser Alm (German), has many trails to walk on. Situated in northern Italy’s South Tyrol area, it has views that are incredible. And everything in this area is still signed in both Italian and German. It is a very popular skiing destination in the winter also. We made our way from the town we stayed in to Castelrotto, and then just beyond to Siusi, where we took the gondola up to Compatsch. Once off the gondola, you can walk pretty much anywhere. We were going to originally try for the top of Sciliar, but that didn’t pan out this time. So we did this simple loop to get a feel for the meadow. So many options to choose from, I would love to come back here some day and do more of the trails. If ever in this part of Northern Italy, I highly recommend this as a nice easy day spent with endless views.
