Incredible adventurous journey! Must do.

We heard this hike was muddy and mostly through roads - not too appealing - so we hitchhiked and skipped this day of the Kerry Way.

Lovely views - highly recommend Our specs: We are in shape, 24 years old; we hiked this trail mid-October. The whole week was rainy, though the day we hiked this was sunny and beautiful out. Trail was in and out of mountain range as well as beach and rocks. The trail was quite muddy due to recent rain. Sheep all over made for a pleasant interaction with the country-side. The ocean view and island spotting parallel to us also made for a pleasant and comforting walk.

This was a fun hike and we took the alternate coastal route. Great paths and views. However, more road walking than I’d like.

The first part of this was beautiful but it’s through a lot of pastures and we had to hike through a lot of muck. We were lucky that it had been dry for a few days, this hike would be miserable in the rain. We took a wrong turn at the top of the second hill, instead of turning right and going along the ridge, we ended up on the “alternate route” to Caherdaniel, so we had about 4 miles of road walking to get back on track (which was boring!).

This is a challenging section of the Kerry Way and about 4 miles longer than the guide book. It’s very muddy and rocky. This route takes you to Blackstone House via the road for the last 4 miles. We skipped the road and too the old Kerry Way though the countryside which ultimately didn’t save us any time. Beautiful views!

Loved this bit. Wide open mood with lots of ancient rock markers on the trail. Great views and some historical bits at the end.

Gorgeous views and very nice walk through fields of sheep - we took the Mass Path to the beach as well which was lovely by the water.

This is a wonderful trail over rugged wind-swept hills. We saw another person only rarely. Beautiful secluded waterfall midway (suitable for the first of May). First half is on gravel road; second half on stones and wooden boards over the marshy bits.

This was my final segment on my Dingle Way Walk and it was my least favorite. I started in Camp and went to Tralee. My recording showed the mileage and elevation to be much different than the app showed. The app also had the trail out of Camp being different than the actual Dingle Way Trail. I couldn’t find the trail showing on the app and ended up following the signs after backtracking a few times.

did halfway to Waterville from cahersiveen. trail was along a fence the entire way and since it was across farmland had to step over a fair amount of animal droppings. otherwise decent views but for a standalone hike possibly Killarney is more pristine and picturesque

easy for most of the trail. some uneven rocky bits particularly at the beginning of the Derrycunnihy church to Torc section. lots of up and down. beautiful day, we did the two car method, drove to killarney left one car there, then on to kenmare and walked from there. needed lots of water to drink along the way, took just under 5 hours.
