Went for my first hike in Tibradden and I was not disappointed..although it does help when the weather is just about perfect..I walked up to the cairn and continued until I came to the view towards Bray/Sugarloaf..WOW! Stunning view..I will most definitely returning for a sunrise photo shoot and possibly on to Glendalough

The signs don’t match the map.follow the signs they are marked very well.if u walk at night bring Torch cause signs light up great.

Lovely hike. You follow the purple arrows for most of it. Then keep an eye on the app as it’s easy to take a wrong turn.

Excellent trail, really enjoyable walk with amazing historical monuments along the way. Only downside is the Tibradden Road at the end; it is really dangerous so make sure you don't get caught there in poor light/visibility.

Lovely, easy-going run - surrounded by great views and wildlife. You can go off trail at certain parts for more of a challenge and know you can pop back on course if needed. Plenty of uphill and downhill so it never gets that dull.

Excellent trail and at some parts fairly challenging (for me anyway). It can get busy and around l narrow areas runners can be slowed down to a halt. Worth it for the views. Note: it can get very muddy after rainfall and there are plenty of loose rocks so watch your ankles.

Loved it. So close to Dublin and yet so far. I don’t mind the fact that first 15 minutes or so is by road. Route out of Shankill village is interesting. The walk over the pedestrian N11 Motorway bridge was a bit unpleasant for some of my height phobic friends. Otherwise getting into the country side is quite quick. Once in the trail it’s beautiful, peaceful and uninterrupted. Lots of off-track short cuts or long cuts for those who want more of a stretch. Really great views over Killiney and Dalkey, further north over the city and all the coastal views down south to Bray and the Sugar Loaf. The whole trail was immaculate. Highly recommended.
