Liked it, myself and 2 beginner kids 9 and 10 plus Labrador retriever. Misty day, so not much view and unique conditions at the summit, overall great experience and the variety of trail was enjoyable.

Amazing views got to see the sunset. Took my two dogs. Quite muddy so good footwear needed.

This is an easy walk. If you go right after first bridge you get the more intersting part first half of walk. Can be quite wet at places.

Beautiful coastal walk. High cliffs and panoramic views. Literally the edge of Europe. Napoleonic watch tower and world war bunkers to explore. Love this walk.

I would recommend this for a novice like myself starting off, not to steep or long and lovely and quiet I only meet 2 people the whole way around.

Spectacular views along the cliffs. We were so lucky to have sunshine the entire day although the trail was muddy from last night’s rain. A highlight of our trip to Ireland.

didn’t really enjoyed it. we were there on a sunny calm day and it was still pretty windy there. views are ok, but only if you like looking at water , quite crowdy. prefer hiking and forest walks.

nice trail, muddy along the first stretch by the water

Sehr schöner, teils aber schon anstrengender Weg zum Leuchtturm. Ich würde definitiv Wanderschuhe empfehlen. Sehr schöne Aussichten unterwegs.

This is a well marked trail, it was easy to follow the purple arrows. Great scenery

Amazing trail, views of Dunmanus Bay in the outward journey & the tranquil cove (we did the trail on one of the calmest days this year-the silence was palpable) are simply stunning. On the return journey having traversed the sections of public road, both the Bantry & Dunmanus Bays are in view. The section between Sheepshead light house & the Cove is certainly a little boggy so good footwear is essential. The coffee stop at the trailhead is a lovely added bonus. A really enjoyable 4hours.

Superb walk. Beautiful scenery.

Nice easy walk on south side with wetter and rockier path on north side. Very nice views of the peninsulas. Highly recommended. Length is 4.3km by gps.

Great walk with stunning views. Best to leave car at parking area of Castledonovan or the Creek. The walk is actually 11.4km. Measured by Endomondo. Once you get to the summit it is boggy and wet even after a few sunny days. Dont recommend in rainy or wet days. Definitely not when misty as easy to lose direction if in cloud. Otherwise very well signposted. There is no trail once you reach elevation.

Done this walk today the views are amazing very wet in places and it was the best marked trail that I have been on other counties could learn from them would highly recommend to anyone
