Really fun trail, some sections extremely eroded and some minor scrambling necessary. The last part of the descent into Agia Roumeli was a little challenging, very crumbly and hard to find the path- but it was after sundown so it may have been well marked.

From the Turkish ruins on Cape Tripiti, all downhill, some sections very eroded or washed out. Domata is lovely. We swam at the far east end.

Trail starts on a dirt road heading out of Paleochora. The path is rocky in some areas. Just lovely. Not difficult, we are carrying 50 lb backpacks. Beautiful views. Camped on the beach in Lissos, absolutely gorgeous.

Nice trail, some few passages were a bit difficult with a bad knee.

Very beautiful trail. It goes through the arid part of Crete, so a lot of rocks. There is a fork in the road at one point where you can follow the coast or go around the mountain formation. If you go along the coast, expect a steep and the use of your hands at one point to climb up. Aside from that, a few lagoons and beach stretches really make a nice refresher for a break. There’s a chapel on a hill that you can walk around, but this one seemed closed when I went. There’s 3 towns that you pass by, each have a place to get water if you run out
