loved this whilst it lasted I took the wrong trail straight out into the busy main road at the base of the mountain taking me off course (my fault) for 5 miles the first 4 miles of the mountains was unbelievable scenes tho I will be back to complete this course I'm giving it a 5 star for the 4 mile I completed up there beautiful views great for trail runners

This is a really nice walk, the last little uphill stretch pushes you to a tiresome finish. I'd recommend this walk to anyone, during winter it's very muddy, but still enjoyable. I'm going to do this route more regularly, look forward to the summer time with this one, the views will be lovely.

I completed 9 mile of trail running up here today and what a stunning view I will be back... see you in April for the half marathon trail run

We opted to cut out the lower loop to make the walk 3 miles. We really liked the walk however I have to warn anyone doing this after wet weather that the section across the common at the lowest point of the walk was very boggy/muddy. Once you climb up onto the hills the tracks are fine.

Nice walk, lots of parking available (£4.20 per day). Most of the route is on very good path.

Highly recommended trail.

Just beautiful. Although parking situation is horrible at this location. You can do any of a hundred different routes. Pick a good day and enjoy the views.

Was worth it for the views despite missing the Beacon due to fog, the other hills were great.

A great walk any time of year! Spring/summer brings lots of green views and flowers and sheep but there’s something special about the Cotswolds in winter where the uphill part of this makes you feel like you deserve your pint at the pub in front of the roaring fire that much more. The tower is interesting with some lovely views around.

A great walk in terms of being the best proper hills close to the Birmingham. Lovely countryside. But it’s not that circular, more of an electorate back and forth. But a lovely walk nonetheless. Would recommend if you like a reasonably challenging walk, also lots of cute dogs around.

My partner and I went on a glorious day, perfect conditions for walking. it was sunny and a warm 20C. This meant that the paths were firm, which made it easy to walk on. On the last quarter of this trail the paths are narrow and not easy to find without the app/map. I should imagine the paths would become difficult to walk on if wet due to them not being surfaced. I highly recommend this walk to anyone that wants to experience a peaceful walk, away from traffic and the hustle and bustle.

A great walk for anyone who likes a varied trek out. Starting in the bottom corner of the car Park it’s a gentle bimble on a well marked path, this does get a bit steep and uneven so watch you footing on the way down. Once you hit the quarry though it’s all up hill from here but definately worth it when you finally pop out of the tree line and you are handed some stunning views across Herefordshire And Worcestershire! You could do this walk in trainers on a good day but not advised as it can be a bit tricky under foot at times. Enjoy!

Nice route but supper hot in summer sun. Easy to leave route when on top of hill due to many paths however the soon join back up.

Great walk, well interpreted mill, lots of alternative tracks

Extremely steep in places, nice views. Not well signed. Plenty of litter bins. Nice cafe at the well.

Excellent trail lots of climbs and decents. The climbs are short with some steeper areas. Paths across the ridge are easy to follow. The return loop on lowlands are a bit more tricky to navigate. some great views from the top of British Camp,Worcester Beacon and Midsummers Hill.

Lovely trial, and plenty of off shoots to make it slightly shorter or longer. Some charming things to look at on the way round. Saw plenty of wildlife and great for dogs ( on a lead if they can’t be trusted with the animals).

There is plenty of parking at the start of this walk. The first climb is quite steep but the view from the top of Midsummer hill is worth it, especially looking over towards the Oblesik and Eastnor castle. The descent from here to the quary is quite steep and very slippery. From the quary to the Obelisk was quite wet so you need sensible shoes. If you wanted a simple and gentle there and back walk to the Obelisk then take the surfaced road on the left at the car park as you look at the hill. Lots of local dog walkers appear to do this. Whilst not the longest of walks the fist half is quite challenging do allow little longer than normal for this length of walk.
