wet and windy by a good walk. fairly muddy but we did have a lot of rain the previous night. Must shave a few mins off next time to finish in less than 2hrs!

Lovely walk. Follow the purple signs and you can't get lost. Parking is £1.50 for 2 hours at the weekend. £1. 00 during the week

Great walking area. Easy to get to and navigate around

This is a lovely walk with some road walking but mostly off road. it can be a bit muddy in winter but did not spoil our enjoyment. We also enjoyed lunch at The Cretingham Bell on the homeward stretch!

The bridge is closed so you will need to walk to the church. There is a lane along the church that leads to the footpath. The walk is easy but add a mile or 2 on because of the closed bridge. Good for dogs

A very enjoyable route. Walked in December and as expected we had muddy paths. Look forward to walking route again in summer.

This is a beautiful scenic trail, it is very muddy in winter, I would recommend wellies!

Really nice walk and lovely views over the River Alde and the marshes. It was ridiculously muddy when walking from the river towards the town. Very wet feet for those without wellies! At one point we had to walk along planks of wood and old tyres that had been left in the mud.

Really lovely walk. Beautiful views.

Lovely walk, bit muddy but we’ve had a lot of rain. Lovely views and countryside.

One of our favorite place

A nice walk after a pub lunch. Took about an hour and a half, stunning views of the river.

Nice trail for walking with kids it was first trail for my 4 years old doughter

excellent

What a lovely place to go for a walk! We stopped off at the ship inn, amazing big beer garden and was dog friendly. We had a pork and black pudding scotch egg and cheesy chips (and a sausage for the doggo). We wandered slightly off course but made it back on the Suffolk coastal path. Would highly recommend. (I’m disabled - nerve damage in my right leg, but I managed this walk) we now have a very sleepy dog!

Lovely walk with shingle beach, heath and woodland, Minsmere and great views of Sizewell dome!

Very easy network of well-used, criss-cross, poorly-marked trails. Large open spaces and old-growth pine and fern forest. Some walkers, runners and a few novice cyclists. I’m a mountain biker too and this would not challenge/attract me to ride at all. Trailhead not marked but it’s right off the roundabout at the end of RAF Mildenhall runway. There’s a locked metal gate and you enter the trailhead just to the right of the gate.

nice route, nothing to demanding but can get busy.

great walk today, with some muddy parts, but mostly great conditions. A little over grown on a couple of stretches of foot paths. Some great scenery

Enjoyable and easy for 2 novices

nice walk via The Ship Inn ( cod and chorizo, coconut rum and pineapple cheesecake), very nice beer garden, good food, dappled shade forest, went wrong at the end through 2 caravan parks trying to find the beach, the one we want is the holiday park rather than static park, map near restaurant shows steps to beach which are otherwise hard to find
