Fabulous mix of walking across heathland, woods and along the river with a small part of hilly walk but mostly it’s a gentle climb. Lots of options to lengthen / shorten. Fabulous stop for lunch in Combe house hotel

Lovely walk. Must must wear wellies!!

A lovely walk around the headland. Varying views and terrain types, and a few steep hills.

Nice sea views across to Wales (if it's a clear day!) but can get a bit same-y after a while. A nice simple walk if you don't want to worry about a map.

Great Trail! Quite difficult with the mud, but with proper hiking boots not a problem to do. The sights of Bath were beautiful and the trail was pretty quite (hiked on a weekday).

Great walk. Very muddy and some difficult terrain. Steep climbs to avoid disappearing paths. Cow churned paths. Autumn colours were fantastic. Pubs very welcoming. We had a great day.

Seriously rewarding but actually surprisingly difficult after wet weather. There are some very steep bits both up and down. Some very good views of both nature, history and, of course, the city and surrounding towns.

This trail takes you along the Almonsbury village centre through fields full of apple trees, good to collect some on the way :) Then off home to bake an apple pie!

Nice short walk. Probably because of the recent strong rain but I had to across a little stream, without waterproof shoes you'll get your foots wet.

This walk from Chard to Ilminster is a nice reasonably short walk which can also be cycled. It has various gradients but nothing steep. It takes in some lovely scenes of the Somerset countryside. It follows the old Taunton to Chard railway line, however no tracks remain. There are several World war 2 relics left in place for example poll boxes and tank traps as well as a machine gun nest by the bridge on the Knoll st Giles road. Approximately two thirds into the walk (coming from the chard end) is the hamlet of Donyatt with its old church and very nice pub The George which comes as quite a nice stop off before carrying on to Ilminster.

A lovely trail through woodland and farmland. We cut back after half way as we were pressed for time but it was still a great walk. The paths are clear and well signposted.

Great dog walk.

one of my favourite walks. 3 stiles on route and some on lead walking for dogs due to farmland but such a pretty place in the woods and the waterfalls are pretty after rainfall.
