A nice trail, although not as ‘easy’ as it is currently graded. The trail crosses various fields and bridleways that flow through farmland - BRING WELLIES, you’re going to need them.

Great trail - we really enjoyed it. Due to recent weather it was very muddy but as long as you have hiking boots it’s fine. Our 1 year old cockapoo loved it too. Lots to see and nice variety of fields and woodland. Takes a couple of hours.

fab views of the Thames in both directions from the top of Hatrslock. Great amenities in Goring. Thames path section a bit muddy after all the rain.

Nice walk with pretty villages. Good pubs and good views. Quite a lot of tarmac but the roads are very quiet and there are walks in adjacent fields. No livestock at all so dog friendly. We saw a few deer and stags.

Lovely easy stroll with great views. The kind of walk you would take the dog on if you are short of time and live locally . Can have the dog off the lead for most of the walk. I personally extended the walk and it wasn’t quite long enough for me or the dog! But the views were gorgeous on a crisp day, like today!

This is a good trail, and some lovely views, however the fields in parts were extremely muddy and part flooded still. Also a fallen tree at the first bridge. Definitely wellies needed !!

Great trail to have the dog off the lead - plenty of beautiful woodland and country views and some amazingly beautiful country homes! Free parking in Christmas common and straight onto the trail in minutes! Given the recent weather expected it to be very muddy but was relatively dry and a pleasure to walk today on a crisp New Years Day!

Did this walk on a sunny December afternoon and really enjoyed it. Was quite muddy especially along the river path as expected at this time of the year. Highly recommended and consider starting the loop through the woods first as the sun setting over Henley really made this walk special on the way back.

A lovely Sunday walk with the dog. It was a little muddy but that’s because we went in December. All in all, we would definitely recommend this beautiful trail!

Nice varied walk and not too muddy despite recent torrential rain. Some road walking but mostly along quiet lanes. Easy with dog and plenty of off lead time. One potentially awkward stile (we needed to lift the dog over) but easily avoided by walking along dog lane. Nice field at the start for a spot of playtime

Superb trail, very scenic and easy to follow. On the way out, plenty of signs to the Chiltern Way. Coming back there are no signs most of the way, but it's still quite straight forward. The uphills and downhills need to be taken with care as it was a bit muddy and slippery. My dog loved it. Great shop (post Office) in Hambleden, Bucks, to buy fresh food, snacks and coffee, about half way. I did the whole trail in 3:30hrs.

Nice moderate hike with some good areas to stop. Unfortunately wasn’t too pleasurable today, although the weather is beautiful - very very muddy with the recent wet weather. Few slight modifications to the trail; stiles removed etc but good instructions and easy to follow! Wonderful views and variety of riverside, woodland and fields! It was a little annoying having the dog on the lead and then off again at multiple times in the walk - only downfall!

Really lovely walk (as long as you're wearing the right footwear!) through beautiful open countryside. Saw 2 red kites circling around, which was an added treat. The instructions were absolutely spot on and full of interesting local facts. Loved it, thank you!

One of my favourite walks! Gets 5 star from me too as there is no livestock on route! Great veiws of the rolling chiltern hills, lovely woodlands full on bluebells in the spring and beautiful cottages through all the picturesque villages. Nice pub stop at the frog in skirmett. Also very easy free parking at the stag and huntsman in hambleden. Will definitely be doing this walk again and again!

This was for the most part a lovely walk. We went the day after rain so the path was very muddy. The directions are very good. The only downside is there are some sections that are along fairly busy roads, which is less than ideal. whilst there are some ascents and descents, I wouldn't say this is hard - more moderate (we're not really fit). The Fox and Hounds was a very nice, friendly pub, so a welcome stop there, too.
