Brilliant walk - a good first time long walk which offers lots of opportunity to extend the length in Clumber Park. We came off the trail in Clumber to follow a traffic free path and rejoined a kilometre later which was an easy change. We loved the cafe at Cresswell Crags which was a great half way stop.

I use this route regularly on my road or mountain bike

one part does say private property with a gate Infront but tried our luck and walked around it, nice views of the river and wood land. I would suggest there's a nature reserve called skylarks with a car park. not anywhere to park from start of trail

this is an ok walk, good for first timer's, personnally prefer something more challenging. may say free entry but car park is £3+ is picturesque, wouldn't bother putting all your hiking gear on

I would not recommend doing this walk alone. It is very monotonous. The first part of the walk is very beautiful but after about 2.5 miles you hit farm fields and that’s all you see for the rest of the walk.

Great walk, really enjoyed it! Well kept paths and walkways, easy to follow and plenty to see on the way! A great walk to try if its your first long route!

A lovely park, very well maintained with easy walking on good paths. Picnics and barbecues are common throughout the summer. There is fishing in the lakes, marina and river. Toilets are available half way round Colwick lake. Occasionally there is organised swimming in West lake by the outdoor activity centre. Pay on entry at barrier.

A long but beautiful walk, was great training

Very overgrown and unkempt. Seems asthough any money made goes towards the main building and nothing else. The iron gates and fencing on the cave entrances are eyesores. Otherwise the nature aspect is quite nice.

Great little Run. Perfect for Product Testing

Excellent dog walk,we parked at Lambley Lane sports ground and joined from there, there is now a large playground and coffee/light snack shop halfway around which was most welcome, will certainly return.

A lovely, straight forward walk. Beautiful even in winter. Highly recommend a small detour to The Plough Inn in Wysall for some fish and chips.

Lovely little walk, which can be extended by walking round the lake early on the walk.

Great walk in early summer with the rapeseed in bloom
