This was an awesome walk and the plough inn was a welcome relief at the end, we detoured towards Farmcote and you can take in the Beckbury camp with epic views and visit Thomas Cromwell’s seat where he reputably oversaw the burning of Hailes Abbey. Well worth it.

on Edgeworth to Bisley

A wonderful Cotswold hike giving great contrast between the downland and the valley’s. Great halfway break at Bisley’s Stirrup Cup pub ready for the return journey. Conditions were wet underfoot but all paths accessible

Found parking in the small car park just passed the Indian on the London Road, the absolutely amazing views from the top is well worth the incline up. We were lucky it was a clear day and the views were far reaching, will certainly do this again

It’s a nice long walk, got a bit muddled towards the end with directions but not too bad, parking isn’t brilliant. Down side is it’s very very muddy and took us 5 and a half hours of slipping and sliding at times. On the whole a very worthwhile walk, not spectacular as it’s mainly just fields but worth it and especially if you have a dog with lots of energy!

lovely walk we did it the wrong way then went off piste to stop off at the black horse inn in cranham which was equally lovely

Beautiful views - major mud and lovely

An excellent walk taking you through a variety of hidden Cotswold landscapes on well marked trails. A caution for dog walkers in the abundance of pheasants on a private estate.

Need gum boots!!!!

Signs were confusing in the last mile, we took a few wrong turns but then managed to find a shortcut back to the lodge.

This is not a walk, but a mountain bike trail.

A fantastic 6 day journey inn to inn through England. Brought lunches instead of pub food everyday. Just follow the acorn markers thru sheep pastures, over stiles, past haunted barrows, thru some private land. Very little road walking until the end. Great international tribe of fellow walkers. It rains in the summer but not every day. Hill walking at times but no scrambling. A bucket list item. And then Bath....

Recent heavy rain has made this walk very muddy, the hilly trails are running streams! Very quiet walk, fields with sheep and horses. Dogs to be kept on leads throughout the walk. Hilly, tricky walk but good exercise.

Really nice easy walk through some beautiful woods. Easy going for four under 8 year olds and lots of hide and seek spots. Beautiful village to walk around before/after.

A nice walk with a few steeper slopes at the begining. A lot of livestock in the later half of the walk so advised dog to be kept on a lead. Nice scenery very quiet takes about an hour and a half.
