Was a nice walk, a bit on the muddy side but is to be expected due to the amount of rain we have had.

Unfortunately the Hanningfield reservoir does not allow dogs, but the area itself is outstanding. Lots of wind in the willow themed wooden statues and plenty of scenery. The visitor centre is quite small, so if you want food aim for a 15-20 min wait when it’s busy.

Good dog-friendly walk with parking opportunities throughout. We parked at Shoebury common, as there were many spaces available, and completed the loop in the opposite direction. Clean walk consisting of paths and pavements

Great walk! Little muddy due to the amount of rain we have had in the past few days! But a nice little walk

Some of the paths are extremely muddy and slippery in places, but you can easily track round most of the worst places. The views are lovely and there’s plenty to see along the way. I’ll definitely come back and see the area in spring/summer.

The route itself is easy enough, with good footing throughout. The majority of the scenery is pretty grim (mostly refineries) but the sea wall section, with all the mural art is fantastic! This route may be better in spring/summer for the scenery.

I would recommend this trail to anybody looking to get lost for a couple of hours before either walking back or jumping on a train at one of the station you come across on the way I choose to walk to Southend central enabling me to get back in time to pick the kids up!

The coastline is beautiful, really picturesque with the rows of beach huts. The middle section is a little boring as it’s just through the middle of a residential area, but the seafront makes up for that.

An excellent walk. Many of the signs or arrows have now disappeared. We did the walking January, it was extremely muddy in places. Without the app it probably would have been virtually impossible to find your way. We started at the George Inn Shalford. I asked the Landlady if ww could park the car there and then had lunch or late lunch! The landlady and landlord were extremely welcoming . Left there at 10.10 hrs, arrived back at 14.20 hrs

it's a little boring

Excellent little walk. Always polite to mention to the pub that you'll be coming there for lunch or something to eat if you park there. the walk took us about an hour and 40 minutes. Over 60 but fit ish. I recommend the Windmill for food and drink. I suggest to walk it clockwise as the directions are not easy when you reach South Hanningfield Road if you walk anticlockwise.

Great coastal walk, must try again in the summer! Lots to see along the beach fronts and plenty of scope to expand the route. There’s not a lot of parking near the start finish point, but we found somewhere else with minimal difficulty.

Good walk, enjoyable, easy to follow and not to strenuous but hilly in places. Worth noting it passes The General Arms Pub at the half way point.

Good trail, a bit flooded and muddy in places but a good circular walk.

Great looped walk with great views of the creek. Could let dog off lead most of the walk.
