Brilliant hike, after reading the comments posted we decided to take the anti clockwise route. Highly recommend

Lovely trail, quite busy with not a lot of parking. Easy walk

Have walked this a a few times now including in ice and snow. The route is good with great views over the Yorkshire Dales, Sedbergh and the Lake District Mountains. Path is generally good and the waterfall is stunning!

Nice easy walk, our pup loves exploring and is alway happy with this walk.

Great little walk with fantastic views. We only did School Knot and Grandsire before walking back down the road to the car, but views from both were great. Path was a little wet in places but nothing too bad for mid December.

Great trail, slightly difficult with a pushchair in parts. Took overall 6 hours!

Great little trail, perfect for families. Thoroughly enjoyed the cold crisp November climate and the Croft House cafe half way round was fab!

Straightforward circular loop with good footing and signage. Despite it being November, it was all easily passable and we had a great morning ramble with our pupper
