Really enjoyed this walk. Green lane is a muddy farm track so suitable footwear for that is advised. once you get down to the coast though it's stunning all the way through to lizard point. Nip into the cafe for some cake. Great way to end a walk.

Great little walk for a Sunday afternoon.

Great walk for everyone. Plenty of historic buildings, woodland trails and fantastic views back across Plymouth. Also a good challenging hill at the end.

Shorter version of the Bude Canal and Coast Walk about 4.5 miles

Nice views and a good mix of flat and climbs. Gets very muddy when wet.

What a lovely walk. Stunning views. A bit muddy in places but not a problem for good walking shoes. A put stop in the Carbis Bay hotel about half way helped. We are not avid walkers either so it’s not too difficult. A great way to spend a few hours.

Whilst it is a lovely hike, at the moment the second half of the walk around the lake is totally flooded. The first half is on a higher path and unaffected. It is possible to make your way around the higher paths in the second half though it will add distance. Lots of birdlife and good views, nice variation in the hike too.

Great trail - very muddy in November but fun!!

Great afternoon walk nice stop off at Cawsands Nicely paced walk

A lovely walk. Looe bar has quite a few works going on when I did it. Started at Helston Car Park, which is free, and heading down what would be the left side as you head down towards Looe bar. Lots of birds on this walk and really enjoyed it.

Blustery morning so really exposed on the coast path but once turned inland wind settled down. Fine for dogs in general, one stretch of busy road so just need to be conscious of when to keep on lead.

Absolutely spectacular views all the way. Probably the best piece of coastline anywhere in the South West

Cracking trail, great views and good times

Lovely hike, but then there are no bad ones in this area!

Great walk with amazing views. As per another comment there is a field where you have to go all the way round rather than following the path described but otherwise really good. Mix of trails and roads so good for dogs.

A great walk with beautiful scenery. Good eateries at either location. Ground is moderate, however probably not the best route with strong winds.

A great walk mixing inland with coast. Although easy to follow for us in mid summer there was one section where the crops in the field had hidden the path so just walk around the edge.

Gentle walk with some lovely views

Mostly dog friendly though passing through dunes, areas of special interest, and close to roads. Views of cliffs and beaches below, lots of opportunities to go down to the beach between Hayle and Gwithian, cafe and toilets at Gwithian and Hell's Mouth. Portreath is a lovely place to end the walk, and definitely worth sitting down for an ice-cream at!

A very long scenic walk around Talland Bay and Looe. It was quite hilly in places but not too treacherous. Lovely scenic views on the coastal paths. It took us around 5 hours to complete which included stioping for lunch in Looe and feeding the baby twice!

Perfect combination of coast and countryside.

I would recommend this trail to anyone who fancies a bit of exercise with the award of amazing views from the top of the rame head peninsula. Areas of the walk have full shade and some are exposed which gives a great change of scenery. About 500m of the walk is on a quiet country road and so i believe it would be safe and enjoyable to families and dog walkers. It took me 2 hours with breaks and the circular walk came straight back to a free parking area. Would recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Sadly you cannot now park at the Saltings as the train now begins at St Erth. This means you cannot get the train back to Lelant Saltings. The only way to do this walk is both ways or someone drops you at Lelant and picks you up from St Erth after leaving St Uves by train for the rerun.

A great walk , fantastic coastal views . It’s quite challenging in parts but worth the effort. Stopped off at carbis bay hotel for a cream tea to refuel !

Fab walk, perfect Trail with easy access, and lake, sea and woodland views. Very large-dog friendly. Thank you for posting this Trail.
