Really enjoyed this walk. Green lane is a muddy farm track so suitable footwear for that is advised. once you get down to the coast though it's stunning all the way through to lizard point. Nip into the cafe for some cake. Great way to end a walk.

Great little walk for a Sunday afternoon.

Great walk for everyone. Plenty of historic buildings, woodland trails and fantastic views back across Plymouth. Also a good challenging hill at the end.

Shorter version of the Bude Canal and Coast Walk about 4.5 miles

We went off piste with this walk and included the Norman church and Houses in Old Road then the headland at Penally making the walk 3.5 miles instead. Took 15 year old dog and was a struggle for him on the slippy slate but kept him on short lead which stopped him falling when he slipped. Great blow hole on Penally 1-2 hrs before low water

Such a lovely walk. I grew up in Cornwall but never did this walk before. Me and my partner walked it today and really enjoyed it. It was very muddy, but that was due to it being December 27th and it rained last night. I would recommend this to anyone. Met some really friendly people along the way too. I love Cornwall so much.

Nice views and a good mix of flat and climbs. Gets very muddy when wet.

A good trail between st mawes and st just, beware livestock and if it’s been raining then the path can be particularly muddy at points. Good run though.

Beautiful beach and dune walks close to the cliff edges and past seal colonies. Fifty shades of blue, green, yellow and brown-read. But also a huge detour through the backside of Hayle and along a busy road. Which also spoils the view on the river estuary. 1 star less because of that.

Beautiful colours of sea, rocksand plants. Especially when partly clouded and the sun bursting through every now and then. Very friendly people at the cost guard station of St. Agnes Head. In the last stretch before Portreath I wondered why the British Ministry of Defense has fields of couliflower growing. No answer yet...

Walked to the start from Marazion Caravan Club site and noticed that there was only parking for 2 cars in a small layby. Beautiful walk along quiet lanes and enjoyed our time at the castle. We took the ferry across £2 per person, dog went free as the tide was in. Returned across the causeway. We checked tide times and this worked out well because as soon as the causeway was accessible, there were masses of people crossing onto the island. Dogs were not allowed in the castle or gardens.

A really great trail, cows, horses, and amazing views. We stumbled upon it by accident when visiting Tintagel Castle, so we weren't in the most appropriate footwear, but managed it all the same in my vans :D

Ran early September. Poor trail considering this is a recognised route. High overgrown paths, muddy, poor signage. One section takes you on a very fast and busy road with only an overgrown bank to step into to get out of the way of oncoming traffic. Would be dangerous to walk with children and very difficult with dogs due to the road section. The rest of the walk is ok but a little boring...get to the coast instead! Use insect repellent, conditions mean lots of midges!!

Very good trail, the coastal route is spectacular. The inland route is a bit fiddly with some walking on quiet roads and a few stiles were in very poor condition. Took us about 4.5 hours with a few brief stops

Absolutely spectacular views all the way. Probably the best piece of coastline anywhere in the South West

A must for anyone who loves walking the Cornish coast, taking in some of the most breathtaking views anywhere in Cornwall.

Lovely hike, but then there are no bad ones in this area!

Great walk with amazing views. As per another comment there is a field where you have to go all the way round rather than following the path described but otherwise really good. Mix of trails and roads so good for dogs.

Loved all the mine ruins; another great leg of the coast trail.

This was my 3rd day on SW Coast trail, and although this is a great hike in many places, passing through Newquay was less than stellar thus only 4 stars.

I did this over a day and a half and it was simply spectacular. Continued on the 2nd day to Newquay. Can’t recommend hiking Cornwall enough.

A great walk mixing inland with coast. Although easy to follow for us in mid summer there was one section where the crops in the field had hidden the path so just walk around the edge.
