good walk, very muddy, beautiful views

love the views from here

It’s an interesting and vista-filled stroll, but for us the road noise did spoil what would have otherwise been stunning. Perhaps in the summer, with more leaf cover, it will be a bit quieter. We‘ll try again then...

Lovely winter walk

Great walk that will take you around 2 hours. Very muddy in large sections so would suggest you do this in the Spring or Summer. Mainly flat so not hard. Nice place to take a walk with your dog and family. Best place to park is Tesco as free for 3 hours.

Nice route, though very muddy and slippery towards the beginning (November hike). Easy to navigate and the coffee shop in Downley is a great place to finish if you adapt your start/finish point.

Definitely an easy trail across fields - slight incline in parts which give great views. Most parts across fields so be aware very muddy when been raining.

Stunning views, there was a bit that we had to cut out as it was fenced off and private, so lost 2km off the trail. The last part of the walk was unpleasant due to having to walk in tall grass on the side the busy road.

Really easy route, perfect for family outing with beautiful sites in every weather. I found plenty of mushrooms along the track. Denham is probably the nicest little village I've ever seen and Green Man Pub is really something you wouldn't want to miss, with delicious Sunday roast, great selection of draught beers, moderate prices and excellent service.

Lovely gentle walk

Lovely hike easy to follow with nice variety of country sights and some great views and wildlife.

Lovely walk featuring plenty of wildlife, some lovely views, a cricket match, steam train, vineyard and dog friendly pub. A few stretches of road and lost the path for a while at Radnage but it was enjoyable.

Lovely walk once you get away from the crowds at Wendover Woods (extortionate charges) car park. Sections on The Ridgeway and a beautiful stretch on the Icknield Way. Only one real climb - but it’s fairly gentle and follows a beautiful greenway.

Its ok I normally go to walk the dogs down there but it is muddy!!!

One of my local loops. A good walk in beautiful countryside.

A good level of shade and almost flat all the way round. Lots of water to see in various guises. We ended our walk just a few steps on from the pub at the Church and enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea outside the Vestry in their beautiful rose garden - currently available on summer Sundays between 3 and 5pm.

Would have been a good walk if the paths were cut and the grass wasn't up to my waist. also this is not dog friendly, at gates I had to pick the dog up and over as no way for him to go through, not a problem if he was a little dog though!

nice little hike with not much to see on this one though I'd say this is more easy than moderate happy hiking
