Beautiful walk. How ever it was abit muddy with it being January but as long as you don’t mind getting stuck in which I didn’t it’s lovely!

Good walk with clear paths and nice picturesque views. Good for a dog, only need them on the leash for a short section through the deer park

A lovely walk, took the children. They enjoyed the woodland. Easy route. A bit muddy (in Jan)!

Pleasant walk. Well marked. A bit muddy in a few places but generally good underfoot. Some lovely views in places and very quiet.

quite muddy in a couple of places

lovely peaceful walk, mostly through woodland with nice wide paths for most of the route, with a nice open part of the walk through fields / open plain. Nice to get away from the Reading urban area and into countryside. only the low far away rumble of the M4 reminds you you're not so far away from town.

Great trail running route!

Very pleasant trail in winter sunshine with carpets of leaves. Rather spoilt by a very busy and potentially dangerous section along the main road around Burchett’s Green. Also, having now completed a number of All Trails routes I find that, in the absence of an accompanying written route description, you need to keep a close eye on the red trail line, which is sometimes not very precise.

Pleasant route linking the two parks. Nice trees, good paths and not too muddy.

Lovely walk, some wooded areas, tarmac paths and grass routes. Grassy areas were a bit muddy and wet, but it is November. Lots to see, very peaceful if you go early

Good walk, mostly on well surfaced tracks so not muddy. Mixture of pine forest and beech with good autumn colours. There's some road noise at the start and towards the end but otherwise it's quiet. Directions easy to follow.

Lovely walk through the woods and some farm land. Not overally muddy either. There's sheep in a field in the far side of the walk from the car park. They are however (currently) well fenced it. Just for other dog walkers interest. Lovely woodland walk. Obvious routes. Suspect fairly busy in the summer. No roads near other than the car park edge.

Word of warning - I went on 16th November 2019. Most of the walk was fine and quite nice but last 20% was completely flooded and unpassable. Had to look at the map and work out an alternative route back which took a long time

Fairly easy route, couple of little hills and the beautiful Leith tower you can see some glorious views from

A lovely walk for families / dogs / kids. Some track ok for push chairs around the snelsmore common area, which is where I’d park (free parking - point 4 on the map). Also toilets there and a little coffee shop which is adequately stocked for the end of walk coffee / cake / sausage roll / baguette. Very nice walk.

Really enjoyed this loop, in fact we went round twice! Easy parking with short stroll into Sonning and a nice stop off at the Bull on the way back.

A very steep climb to get to the top of Beacon Hill, the first part on steps formed by tree roots followed by grass, earth and exposed chalk. The ground was wet from rain earlier in the week so was slippery in places. Reaching the top is very rewarding - with panoramic views (and autumn colours when I visited), Highclere Castle in the distance and the grave of the 5th Earl of Carnarvon (very simple and surrounded by a fence)

Great trail for dog walking, lots of picturesque spots. A bit muddy in places but to be expected at this time of year. There are a few places where dogs need to be on-lead. Took us roughly 2 hours at medium pace.

My best place to relax! Old forest shows me some interesting pieces of nature every time.

Lovely walk for us and our dog, quite muddy (October) in places. Beautiful views. We got a little confused with some of the instructions but having a look at the map on the app (if recording your walk) made it easier to follow. We'll be back to do it again.

Walked here on a Sunday afternoon. It was quiet and beautiful.

Lovely walk through woodland, grassy paths and quiet roads. Lots of points of interest - Windsor castle, statues, ancient woodland and wildlife. Enjoyed seeing the London skyline in the distance. Both car parks just off the A332 - free parking and spaces avail on a Saturday afternoon.
