Unfortunately the farmer has changed the public footpath and put a steep ladder up so you can’t get you dogs up there and if you do you’re met face to face with a bunch of cows. He has breeze blocked the path to make it inaccessible. Don’t bother your time with starting here!

This route is currently flooded just beyond the wooden bridge at the copse (just after crossing the motorway). No way to get around the water and it is quite deep - spanning about 20-30 metres- definitely not jumpable!! Otherwise, nice trail, some walking on the road but I only saw one car whilst doing this so it’s by no means a busy route.

awesome walk with some stunning geology. well worth doing. quite gentle when compared with walks such as kinder, which are classed the same. only spoilt by the constant drone of the a57

Lots of mud which is fine but parts, through the pastures, are quite flooded. Won’t run this one again until things have dried out a bit.

great route with lovely views, and many pubs on the way if you want to stop off too!

great walk for a great cause! (people tend to wear the T-shirt of their chosen charities)

Loved it! Quite muddy though! Tooks us 3 hours.

It was completely flooded in one part so had to turn back around! Apart from that very picturesque, was quiet and dog could walk off of lead for the most part

The lake is a hidden gem. Beautiful walk - mixture of terrain, fields and paths.

Lovely little stroll through woods with glimpses of spectacular coastal scenery

Long and strenuous but spectacular scenery, especially on a clear winter day. Excellent pubs in Clovelly for a break after about 4 miles, otherwise a wild path. Receives little sun in the Winter due to its northerly facing aspect so wrap up warm!

Beautiful According to the recorder on my gps - the distance is closer to 13 miles

Just brilliant.. this trail has it all.. from leisurely stroll around the reservoir to scramble up the incline on the rocky stream.... it’s worth it for the views..... amazing if you get the weather right. One of my favourite trails so far

Did this on a very hot day but was lovely Great views and different things to see along the way

Very muddy at parts but this maybe down to time of year. Nice view next to streams. Recommend

Nice easy walk with good views along the way, great for beginners or A more relaxed walk

Plenty of free parking at the start of the walk. We went anti-clockwise bearing left off the bridleway. Fairly steep climb to the top but manageable followed by a gradual descent to the reservoirs. Imagine it will be beautiful in the Spring as rhodadendrons line the road alongside the reservoirs. Dogs must be on leads in some parts but there were no stiles or livestock when we went. Good tracks but recommend walking boots due to rocky surfaces. Great views throughout and an enjoyable couple of hours.

Was a good walk and route through the woods and fields. Nice pub at end for a drink. Road noise all the time though from the nearby M4 and when we did it in January the trail was very very wet and muddy. Passable but very muddy and slippery.
