Very beautiful hike/walk. but crowded!!

Some stairs on the way up but well worth the beautiful views. Pretty heavy traffic when we started but definitely calms down around 2 pm.

What a joke! From the village you basically walk on a gravel road all the way to the waterfalls. After about a kilometre (just where the blue bridge is) they make you pay 200 Kn as entrance fee to the park. And then... as you get to the end of the trail, so where the waterfalls are, you realise you’re starring in a horror movie about tourism gone wrong. The waterfalls are swarmed with people. There are food stalls everywhere. You can’t even take a normal picture of the waterfalls without at least a hundred persons being in it. STAY AWAY!

Great views! East walk!!!

Fantastic walk around the park, with views of waterfalls, lakes, and forest. Some stairs toward the beginning, then the rest of boardwalk.

This is a great, super easy trail. There’s a boardwalk the entire way, with a few opportunities to jump off and hike a short way on a mud trail. These points are completely optional though, so you can stay on the boardwalk the whole time. The whole path is shaded and you walk directly over the water several times. The views are amazing all around! My mother (who has knee problems) and I were able to complete the trail in around an hour.

Easy (my 82 y/o grandma was able to enjoy it with while holding an arm), yet gorgeous trail walking above and through an intricate and expansive cluster of waterfalls. If you go when it’s busy, do your best to avoid tour groups. They can get quite large and difficult to maneuver around on narrow boardwalk sections.

Amazing group of waterfalls, very populated with tourists but worth it especially when you get a place to yourself, I would prefer Plitvice National Park over Krka, but it is definitely a place to see. Its awesome able to swim with such a beautiful and famous waterfall in your face! Difficulty : Easy, a largely flat and boardwalk with a few stairs and a bit of a hill, but everyone who can walk should be able to complete this with ease. RECOMMEND!

Very nice park with a relatively short hiking loop. At the end of the hike you can go swimming at the base of the large waterfall! Here is my trip report with pictures and maps: https://backpackersreview.wordpress.com/trip-reports/croatia-national-parks/

Excellent and easy walk in a beautiful forest with lakes with pure and transparent water. The walk as many direction signs and some information signs about fauna and flora. My son with 6 years made it, it’s very easy . At the end there are beautiful waterfalls where you can swim (it was a little crowded in August) but I went to water :) You have to pay to enter the park and you have a bus to take to entrance.

Nice wooden path through a rain forest that crosses over streams. Beautiful waterfalls.

We were on a cruise ship that stopped in Split Croatia. We rented a car and drove about 70 km north of Split. We rented a GPS as well and we were glad we did it because the trail was hard to find and the return to the ship was hard to find as well. Every sign was not in English which made things very difficult. Most everyone travels by a free boat that takes folks up to the waterfalls. We decided to park our car at the bottom of the main road and hike the gravel road up. I was about 4km (2.5 miles) up to the falls. There's a manned gate and the person could not speak english and I am not sure any car is allowed to be driven up to the falls. We did not see any cars on our hike. Hike on the road along the river was stunning, no doubt. We arrived up at the falls and there's a fee to get in. It was about 8. USD. They took Visa. There is a restaurant and WC (toilet) up there. For the toilet, they charge a fee. I used the trees on the way back. I've seen many waterfalls in the world, this one is the top on my list of the most beautiful.
