This trail is my home trail. went out Christmas Day and nobody else on the trails but the deer.

A nice, short, dog friendly hike. It starts with a walk through the bush with a decently wide trail. When you get to the point on the map that goes past the loop back, there isn’t a trail any more; you’re just freely walking on the sand. They extend for quiet a distance past where the map stops and you can go as far as you like. The path back is actually a gravel road that is used to access a farm. We didn’t see any traffic on this road, but it’s important to stay alert. Signs at either end of the trail indicate there are more trails that continue past the end of this one. I plan to map them for AllTrails in the future.

Nice walk with kids.

This is a nice loop there is a real challenging uphill and the chance to take other nearby trails to tack on more km. Great views of Buffalo Pound and some wildlife. Less chance if running into mountain bikers than on the adjoining trails. There is an seasonal camp store at the halfway point where you can treat yourself to an ice cream. One of my favorite trails within an hours drive if Regina. The course has some nice rolling up and downs. In the springtime your feet can get wet. If it is a bad year for mosquitos I recommend deer spray and a mosquito nest head cover.

great hike! the bugs were out in full force so bring bug spray! trails were well maintained, could have a few more markers but they were well placed where there were forks in the trail

Beautiful trail. It’s well marked, took approx 1 hr 20 minutes with slow strolling pace. You get a glimpse of the lake but the trail doesn’t go right to it.

good for ATV and small 4x4 trucks.

The Trail was great, but the app didn’t track our path worth a darn! The recorded track does NOT reflect the actual path we hiked.

I would recommend this trail to anyone looking for different terrain from our flat prairie hikes. Located in a valley, the trail winds up and down and around the babbling creek. You will see local bird, berries and wild flowers.

Due to the proximity to water and the grassy trail, expect mosquitoes!! Kind of a boring hike. Would be nice if the park maintained the remainder of the old freight trail that would take you all the way up to the south end of Waskesiu Lake. Seems like they have stopped maintaining many of the trails along the scenic highway.....likely financial reasons.

It’s a park maintainance service road. Nice riding. Some decent scenery and the end point at Crean Lake is an absolutely awesome view!!

Ride this one counterclockwise. Some fun downhills that way. For a good workout ride from the beach lot up to fisher trail, then take the yellow loop over to the blue loop and down to beach again. A lot of fun.

Great trail to test your skills. Roots and rocks on a portion, some wet areas near the lake and some nice downhills on the second half.

Très sympa. Paysage époustouflant arrivé en haut qui vaut la peine car la randonnée n’est même pas trop fatiguante! Nous avons même découvert un monticule de terre avec des fossiles!

Beautiful trail through the buttes. Once you get to the top you can see forever. It’s absolutely stunning.

A pleasant walk through an open lodgepole pine forest (for the most part) with a variety of flowers. At about 2.3 km (going counter-clockwise) there's an unmarked Y in the trail; going left (following the AllTrails route) takes you through a clear-cut fire break that's a bit rough; going right avoids this by continuing on a path through the woods that rejoins the main trail. There are no appreciable views along the way, and there was no sign of the eponymous creek. The last part of the loop follows an open fire road where one can appreciate the boiler moniker in the 30+ heat! The only redeeming part of this part of the loop were the many butterflies. This loop can be easily combined with the Whispering Pines trail which shares the same start and does offer viewpoints overlooking an adjacent valley. Trail starts from a small unsigned parking area at the north end of Loch Leven across from a small boat dock.

A pleasant short loop that shares the same start as the Lodgepole trail. About half-way around there are a couple of nice viewpoints over the adjacent valley and hills.

Good distance hike. Lots of bugs. Make sure you turn the tracker off before you drive away!

The Crescent Creek loop is a 3.3 km long loop trail that follows Crescent Creek along it's North bank. The Trail is muddy and quite rocky but would be great for ATV's, Bikes and Off Road Driving meanwhile being a very enjoyable trail for an enthusiastic hiker. Make sure you pack bug spray, water and sunscreen. The trailhead can be found across the road from the washrooms near the lake.
