This is a nice easy trail. It has mowed paths and signage along the way, although a lot of signs have worn out and need to be replaced so some signs are just sitting on the ground. A lot of information to read when out for the hike. Nice views of the lakes. It is inside a community cattle pasture so you may see cattle. There are no bathrooms at the trail head so plan accordingly. Bathrooms are at the information center across the highway.

This is a great hiking trail to see Lake Dieffenbaker, but be aware this hike is MODERATE not easy. It took about 1.5 hours to hike it. It also has no posted signs along the path, but you need to take the orange path first, then when you reach the yellow go to the right up to the top. Follow the yellow the rest of the way to the bottom. Absolutely no signage along the paths.

The Crescent Creek loop is a 3.3 km long loop trail that follows Crescent Creek along it's North bank. The Trail is muddy and quite rocky but would be great for ATV's, Bikes and Off Road Driving meanwhile being a very enjoyable trail for an enthusiastic hiker. Make sure you pack bug spray, water and sunscreen. The trailhead can be found across the road from the washrooms near the lake.

Great trail. Must be able to orientate from trail markers. Covers many different types of terrain. Head right where the trail separates, this gets the hardest terrain out of the way first. There is no shade, I hiked it at 26-31 degrees and I got cooked. Watch out for rattle snakes. We saw mule deer and bison on the trail. Bring 3 litres of water for yourself.
