Do the loop, worth the walk

Great easy trail, tho a large portion was unevenful the falls were quite impressive, Make sure to go to both lookout points at the end only took 2.5 hours round trip total on a warm fall day

Never a fan of out and backs... but really nice hike!

Easy... flat trail that rewards you with a beautiful fjord! A little too touristy! Busy

This was a hard hike with a tough ascent! Would have been worth it... if it didnt get socked in at top! Hard rocky footing on way down Not my favourite hike!

Good easy trail. I saw a moose.

Warning. Sections of trail follow the shoreline and can be impassable during high tide. Check with park staff on tide schedule if you plan on doing this entire trail

Some pretty scenery but as others have mentioned, this is mostly just the hike to get to the tour boat. Western Brook Pond is stunning, so if you’re taking the tour, the ends more than justify the means. If you’re not taking the tour, this trail isn’t a complete waste of time but should be down your list of priorities while at Gros Morne.

Falls at the end were great to see. Made for some awesome photos. The hike itself was long and somewhat uneventful. Flat, mainly boardwalk. The education signs were a nice touch. Definitely go to the moose exclosure. It's not that far off the main trail and honestly, should just be part of the main trail. We did this in connection with the Berry Hill trail. That is a must. great views from the top. Full walking time was about 3 hours. 3.5 hours if we include lunch at the falls.

Fun one hour hike through mars like landscape. Bit rocky at times. We stopped at the discovery centre before going on this hike. We learned about the history of the Tablelands and it's ecosystems. It made the hike a lot more interesting!

Well, we tried! Forecast called for partly sunny. We took our chances and hiked to the base. Low clouds made it impossible to go up. That being said, the trail going to the base was very exciting. 2 days of rain made for slightly muddy conditions and the trail was pretty much a small stream. Some staircases could have passed for backyard water features. Made from some awesome photos! Gros Morne: 1 Us: 0 We'll definitely be back!

Muddy at the beginning. Steady climb for about 2km. Yes the views become increasing spectacular but the trail resembles a logging cut line- not overly interesting. Once on top the views are great and the boardwalk part of the trail was very cool. Do it once, not a repeater for me.

Nice walk, not much elevation so easy to have a chat as you go. A bit muddy and closed in for the first half but real nice after it opens up. A couple of small nice beaches to stop at along the way.

This trail is beautifully maintained! It’s a lot of open field, and not too much thick forest so you really get a chance to see what’s around you - even if it’s just open fields! The waterfall is beautiful and has a few lookout points so you can see it from different angles!

Rocky to start with muddy sections, but I was fine in my runners. Took 2.5 hours out and back with quick breaks by myself. Spectacular coastline view was worth all the trouble.
