great assortment of trails. easy hiking

great trail, very slick

There is a shuttle you need to pre book online through the parks website for two dollars each that drives you (at 9am) from the park entrance to the interpretation Centre. This way you do not have to do this trail out and back. The shuttle also can continue on to Long Beach where you can take the Fundy footpath to the interpretation Centre if you want to make the hike a little longer. Make a point of going all the way down to Melvin’s beach. it’s beautiful. On the way back up there is an unmarked gravel trail that follows the coast for a little bit before it connects you back to the multi use trail. Highly recommend this trail.

Great multi-day hike from Moncton to St. Martins. Both the Dobson trail and Fundy footpath were in great shape.

part of the trail is a sidewalk, with loud traffic

We didn't have time to finish the segment from Big Salmon to Long Beach but the first bit was wonderful. Varied terrain, beautiful views, pretty strenuous. Want to return and finish!

Great area to walk.

Great path to run, walk along the city harbour. Well paved and lots of places just to sit and day dream.

Been there in search of three caves. Found two along Rockpile Road called Howes cave. Won't disappoint but bring lots of water cause the refueling area are scarce.

Great trails. Lots of hills and rooty sections

This trail is a great way to get to know the city of Saint John! It has many informative plaques about the history, ecology and other sites along the trail. It leads you right from downtown up to the Reversing Rapids where the river actually runs backwards at high tide. We saw harbor seals and many ocean birds along our walk. We also took a detour up to Fort Howe to get a great view over the city and the harbor.
