Well marked trail. Fresh snow made it pretty challenging. No views in the clouds but the snowy trees were awesome.

Beautiful. No need for snowshoes. Snow tracks or good boots are all you need.

Nice stroll

Very good trail even if it’s raining or snowed the day before. My wife and I were able to walk the whole thing including the unpaved portion in tennis shoes. Great view of the water and mountains too!

Went up to Polyrichum Lookout Jan 11th, 2020. (2 hours round trip) No snow at the bottom and then quite a bit of slush above 500m before turning into hard pack. Just past the look out (660m) would be a great place to add snowshoes. I left min in the truck and turned back down. Leaving a reason to come back and complete the whole thing.

Great hike! Did this on January 8th. Snow on the trail, bring your snow shoes...I did this with small spikes. Can be done in under 2 hours. Tried to got further. But the end of the trail is closed for winter conditions. I am going to do this one again.

beautiful falls! very easy walk. took us 30mins with the stopping to take photos.

Snowshoe'd up on Jan 4. Hardpacked snow and icy in some areas. Very steep on the final approach to the top. You should bring snowshoes or wear spikes. Either would be sufficient for the conditions. Saw lots of people trying to hike up in regular boots or running shoes and they were slipping and sliding all over the place. It was very foggy throughout the whole hike. No views at the top because of the fog. Overall good, short hike. I'd love to do it again on a sunny day.

Went Jan 4th and up to first pump, microspikes are perfect. Going to second pump, snowshoes would have been better. Didn't find a safe way to make it to the third pump and turned back. Foggy but a great hike overall.

Tried to go up Christmas gully as the ski runs block the normal traihead, conditions changed and decided to turn back.

I did this hike today Jan 4th. I had snowshoes and crampons with me but I didn’t use them as the trail was groomed. The view from the top is spectacular.

Snow line about final 1/3 of route. Trail unaffected until area where bridge is out. Easily manageable in any footwear. Turned back when breaking trail past lost lake but boots would be sufficient.
