The Seawall loop cannot be completed as of Jan16, 2020. There are two closed gates; one near Prospect Point and another at Siwash Rock. We got around the Prospect Point gate but failed at Siwash. Finished the loop by backtracking and using Merilee's Trail. So 15 km instead of 9.3 km

Very good trail even if it’s raining or snowed the day before. My wife and I were able to walk the whole thing including the unpaved portion in tennis shoes. Great view of the water and mountains too!

One of the best parts of Vancouver. Was there a year and half ago. Some parts are narrow, and so you are required to walk your bicycle. There was a lady that didn't listen, and fell into the sea. The current was really rough, and so she managed to get some nasty gashes before her and her bike were rescued. A few areas to stop and swim along the way. Biking is a brilliant way to see the park, very scenic.

I walk around here with my kids all the time. Great spot for a walk or a bike ride around the dyke. Dog friendly ON LEASH.

Love these trails, especially the ability to walk my pup off leash. Highly recommend downloading a map as most trails are marked, but are a bit confusing... the physical trail map can also be a bit confusing. All in all these trails are beautiful and offer great distance options.

Great trail, very well maintained and a lot of signs so you don’t get lost. Amazing to take your dogs for walks

Great trail around Stanley park and to take your dog for a walk

Beautiful! Super easy but very relaxing and wonderful if you want to have an awesome conversation with someone.

It’s and in and out, rather a full loop.

Nice hike. I did started at Park Royal and returned there. The way back can be boring. I enjoyed. It was not crowed and very fresh.

Dog park with Bruce

Bizarre, almost unfollowable trail...

Nice place!

paved throughout perimeter which makes biking & walking enjoyable. Many places to stop & sit & should take a little over an hour to complete. Definitely do this if you’re in the Vancouver area but expect many people!

Easy, scenic walk to see the water and surrounding area. Dog friendly on a leash. Worth the 45 minutes.

Belle randonnée à vélo!

Good biking trail, goes all the way to the ferries and Sidney. Nice mix of scenery with reasonable good and stable terrain. Quite easy.

Incredibly lovely, easy trails to walk, run, bike or ride. Many are wide, groomed old roads that meander through the forest. New trails have been recently added to accommodate horseback riding. Some paths are a little more technical, heavily rooted & rocky. Though there are enough route alternatives to allow patrons to avoid the worst of them. Gradual ascents & descents throughout - so there is NO climbs worth mentioning involved. Plenty of wooden bridges to cross the stream's that run mostly during the wet season. Trails are constantly maintained & regularly groomed throughout the year. Please take a trail map or download one at the entrances. If you aren't familiar with the trails - you can get lost. New parking lot on Hardy Road that has bathrooms, picnic tables, bike racks, and extensive parking for horse trailers. Best known parking lot is on Bates, across the road from the entrance. Bates road is busy, careful crossing. Dog's are on leash, but...if you have obedient, trail savvy, mannerly dog's that tend to listen to commands - there are area's that your dog's can be off leash. Please be prepared to pick up the poop your dog leaves on these trails. Thank you. As for the wildlife - walked these trails hundreds of times throughout the years - I've encountered more wildlife in my yard (especially deer) then what I've ever seen or heard there.

I like this walk because it can be done any time of day, any time of year. I walk from the impark (free at night) to the rotary marshes sign. This part of the walk is very well lit at night and approximately 4K return. Very flat and paved the entire way.

Way too much road noise from the highway

Great views, easy walk. At times very busy and it can even be packed with locals, tourists and bikers.

Nice and easy walk. Beautifully kept trail. Quiet and relaxing. Would absolutely go back

Great day hike! I hike in Seal Bay at least once a week. This is a great family hike. Wide paths, ( can walk side by side on 70% of trail). Great for trail bike riding also. Nice easy rises. No obstacles or jumps. The Park people are always maintaining and upgrading these trails. They gotten 100% better in the past decade. This trail is 90% off leash also . You will meet a lot of dogs on this trail. This trail is great for all fitness levels. There are also abundant side trails to explore also. I highly recommend this trail if you just want to get out get some fresh air and exercise. In the wet season I pretty much stay on these trails.
