Stuck basically to Edworthy park and the upper level dog bark along Sarcee. I think every resident person and dog in the city was there today. Some great trails in the trees going up to the upper parts but don’t go that way unless you like slipping and doing a complete face plant...in mud. Take the front part that is open to the sun instead. Didn’t go as far along the walkway as I would’ve liked ( covered in said mud) but a great day to be out anyways. Enjoy !

Nice afternoon walk. Red clay along the River, some gravel trail and parts of it paved. The historic Ajax Coal Mine site on the west end was an added bonus.

A nice, easy, Beautiful scenic walk. I definitely wouldn’t classify this as a hike though, but definitely worth seeing.

Great bike ride path to and from Park gates. Also a starting point for the Red Rock Canyon road that is currently closed to vehicular traffic. Pedestrians and cyclists welcome and creates a unique experience on the road without cars and buses. Saw a bear sow and her cub - at a distance. Cool.

Headed out not really knowing what to expect other than what we have seen from driving by and seeing some sections from the secondary highway - Firstly it is too short for biking but would be a good easy 7 km out and back stroll/walk. If you couple it with visiting the unique shops, historical sites and stopping at the Black Diamond hotel for a beverage it would make for a great afternoon outing.

Beautiful for fall hike! Lots of dogs so if that’s not your thing, this isn’t the trail for you. Many great paths. If you cross the river where the bridge is closed be careful on the log and expect to get your feet wet.

Great nature walk right in the city. Paved paths the entire way with cutoffs for more “natural” paths. Lots of access to the water. Only rated 3 stars because a good chunk of the trail runs right along a highway.. the fumes and traffic took away from the peaceful experience just a bit! Still an amazing trail system right in the city!

Nice ride off the Bow River trail. A paved, shared pathway all the way terminating at 96 Ave near the Blue Ring. Mostly flat with a few moderate hills and although you pass some light industrial areas, they are balanced by golf courses and open space along the creek. West Nose Creek (Confluence) Park at the north end is an interesting natural area complete with a big glacial erratic.

Really steady incline and really pleasant on a “warm” winter day! It covered all the roots and rocks everyone was commenting on, but it might have made it easier. The peak was nice, but wish we had a wider view of the mountains as there are a lot of trees at the top!

Unfortunately this trail is not being repaired because ducks unlimited Canada has stopped the town from rebuilding the trail after flooding

Nice trail. There were snow patches here and there and some parts were muddy. There is no shade, so probably it is not an easy trail in summer, but for fall hiking, it is a nice trail.

Trail in great Shape Very little ice along the entire loop

Great trail! Bit of snow still on the western part, had to walk the bike about 100m :)

Nice easy loop, very flat, even ground. Path is paved the whole way. There are garbage cans and benches along the way, and viewpoints for the lake. an outhouse at the beginning. The dog enjoyed it, but definitely had to stay on his leash as this is a busy trail. Easy walk and accessible to all.

The walk here was absolutely amazing. What better way to share your day with a loved one than walking along the path in the fall ? After we sat on the docks and enjoyed each others time, eating snacks and watching the sailboats. Highly recommend for anyone to get out and enjoy this welcoming park. Alot of bikes and people but still fun. Looking forward to our next visit.

Another nice leisurely ride and a great trail to introduce someone new to cycling. Has some minor elevation gain, but nothing too serious - biggest gain is coming out of Weaselhead Nature Park area and the approach to Foothills Hospital when traveling in a clockwise direction. A very pleasant ride and one that will only take 1 to 1.5 hours to complete.

I took my 1.5 year old son with his Thule bike trailer. I am not fit or active in any consistent way and this trail was definitely advanced for me but the pride I felt in doing the full loop (from north glen more park, clockwise) was amazing. The views are beautiful and it took me roughly 2.5 hours to complete. It was a hot day but the no shade areas weren’t so bad.

Great family trail good for all activity and fitness levels. Last section (1km) from Ribbon Creek to Village has switch backs and hills but many strategic rest “pullouts “.

We rode our bikes clockwise on the trail experiencing 3 steep inclines. The path was beautifully created through a mature deciduous forest that was starting to show its fall colours. The views of the foothills and mountains and the water made for great views. Stopped at Heritage Park for coffee. Will do again for sure!
