nice trail in the forest. Peaceful and quiet, but no special point of interest (even the highest point of the trail doesn't offer any view)

beautiful and shady

This is actually a series of MTB trails but still fun to walk. Got talking to a biker at one of the rest stops and he said he's never seen anyone walk the trails but was happy to share (thanks, Berrnie!).

tough trail, mainly old 4wd tracks with steep inclines. Need to keep an eye on the map as its very easy to go the wrong direction

You’re following mostly a 4WD track. Beautiful swim half way through is a must. I made the walk longer by following the cape to cape track north and looping back the 4WD track to grace road. Greatly recommend. Lots of good views along the way.

Good trail quite overgrown in parts. not 6.9km return as stated, seemed to closer 4km return. Great views!

Enjoyable little trail. Next time I will do it anti clockwise as my knees tell me they would prefer ascending rather than descending!. Trail has suffered a fair degree of wash out from winter rain. Currently no water at Rocky Pools.

I use this track to commute between Cowaramup and Margaret River by bike. It's a great track that's well shaded even at midday on hot days. The surface is mostly hard dirt with a scree of loose stones, but does get muddy patches in wet weather. Be aware there's NO facilities along the track, apart from a few picnic tables. It skirts around the back of Margaret River, if you want shops or toilets you have to make a detour into town. The Carter's Road Trail Head is about 3.5km out of town and just has a carpark, no toilets or water. The prettiest section is between Cowaramup Bay/Ellenbrook Road and Carter's Road Trail Head. There's a reasonable amount of parking space at both. Be aware that Carter's Road is the lowest point on the whole trail. From Cowaramup to Carter's Road is lovely, back is a steady uphill slog. Something to remember, especially if you've got kids. Keep an eye out for all the original railway infrastructure. There's cuttings, embankments and original timber bridges (with protective framing over the top). There's even sleepers still visible in a couple of places, and the remains of a dirt station platform just south of Burnside Road.

Six senior MTB enthusiasts enjoyed the ride MundaringWeirHotel to Northam over night then return. A challenge for us Completed ride tired and happy.

Awesome trail for all levels. Love it wet or dry

Someone said in their review that there are no dogs allowed- I don't think this is true. Along the whole trail there are signs saying to keep your dog on a leash and clean up after it. Plenty of gorgeous pooches spotted on their leashes on my ride today.

Ignore Alan’s review- this trail is neither on road nor full of glass, and definitely not suitable for a road bike. Not sure what his review refers to. This trail is a sandy ramble along the road side of the dune. Ok for running, though loose sand in parts. Better for walking, best for your fatty mountain bike.

We came up from a different carpark and missed the turn to go clockwise. pay attention and go clockwise or be prepared for the steep climb. recommend long pants as there's a few bull ant colonies establishing themselves along the route.

Excellent part of the Munda Bidi. Very well signposted.

This is the FULL Yaberoo Bajara tail...from Neil Hawkins park in Joondalup to Lake McNess in Yanchep. Awesome walk..well defined pathway with some beautiful scenery and animals...snakes and blue tongue lizards aplenty...watch your step.
