I did it in a clockwise direction, and loved it (but can t compare with doing it in the opposite direction as I didn’t). The view at Wineglass Bay lookout is stunning, as well as the walk down the beach. I extended by walking 3.2km return along the beach, as the view changes from one side to the other, and both are stunning. I think the steepest part is from wineglass beach up to the lookout, so if you decide to go counterclockwise then be ready for a good hike up that side! If you start instead clockwise the hike up is not too bad, a 3/5. The rest is either downhill, flat, or ondulating. Very well marked track and stunning rocks!

Great walk. Moderate difficulty. A lot of steps.

Highly recommended this beautiful walk. Lots of duck board walking and magnificent views once at the cliffs of the beach

Hiked in November. Was amazing. Climb through some big rocks then a beautiful walk through the bush to the top. One of the best hikes I've done!

This trail is not a loop. It is a short up and back trail thru a beautiful tropical forest with blooming flowers along the route. It was a 90 meter double water fall no one should miss.

Zig zag track close until 14/2/20, but you can still get to the peak via road or via house ice track. I ve started at Fern Tree, good climb up, ans foubd that also pinnacle track was closed that day fron Springs. So I went up Lennah Valley and after sphinx rock I got into upper sawmill track, and then into organ pipes track up to chalet (1000mt) From chalet came down Hunters track, and lower swa track back into Lennah, down to Fern Tree via Middle track. Unfortunately the smoke from mainland covered the view, which must be stunning. While some parts are quite easy, other requires a good fit (especially organic pipe). Mostly beautiful! Enjoy!

Unfortunately the path is not well marked. When you arrive by the beach, go right and you ll find the arch rock. Then walk all the way left, on the beach, and you ll find another track. Keep going till the top. The last bit especially is really unclear, but keep going up and eventually you ll get there. Stunning view at the end! Enjoy!

The track is quite easy, there are some beautiful landscapes appearing. The weather took a bad turn, so I decided to go back after 6km. Track is quite exposed , not ideal on a sunny hot day!

Absolutely stunning!! Highly recommended to do it clockwise, going up the cliff side. The way back through the inner forest made me want to go back out from the cliff again. The view was superb!

I enjoyed a lot the walk. I had a small knee injury and couldn’t do any of the cradle mountain tracks. This one was perfect, only thing to be aware, it is a quite exposed track, very little shade, so perhaps best to do it on a cloudy day.

I would say it s on the easy side of the moderate, as I found it quite easy walk. It s a lovely walk, you can even have a nice deep in the water falls if you feel too hot! :)

I actually started at Rony’s creek (highly recommended) walk up to Marion’s lookout, continued to summit and came back through face track. Definitely doing like so is a hard one. Climbing and chain on the way up and down. But absolutey STUNNING. Probably the best walk if you can t do the overland. Highly recommended

Lovely walk, not too difficult, despite there are few stairs to reach wombat pool peak. Wombat pool has quite a special vibe. You can continue to marions lookout if you feel energized.

Lovely gentle and short walk in the beautiful forest.

Great track with amazing views on a clear day. Look for the marked arrow of rocks before the signposted fork (difficult to spot) - left at the fork is to Lake Herbert, easy walk along a ridge, and right, tougher to Mt Farrell summit. Both worth the walk. We’ve done the Routeburn in NZ and this rates as good (but much cheaper!) Lovely (but steep) rainforest walk on the way up .. but amazing contrast to open fields and summit stretch.

Great day hike! Did this at a very leisurely pace and took about 4 hours (the Mt and the lake) with plenty of time for photos and a snack break. First half of the track is shaded. No shade after that so wear a hat! Strongly recommend hiking boots as there is a fair bit of scrambling to get to the top. If you do the lake section last (recommended) you can follow a slightly different path on the way back - it will eventually meet up with the original track. Have fun!

Definitely have good hiking shoes for this one. Don’t attempt in the rain. Epic sunrise here. Ascended from car park to peak in 45m, 1.5hr total return trip. Data point for reasonably fit folks!

Best one yet. 3 waterfalls in a circuit plus the tall trees walk at the end was quite impressive with the burnt timber.

nice loop, few little rises throughout, clear path all the way round. hidden gem
