Really beautiful walk. Didn’t manage the whole 10km walk... but tracked 5km and then walked back. It’s a must for closed in shoes, maybe a pole too for people that need a little steadying. Keen to get back and complete the full course

First section of the hike is a pleasant romp in a clockwise direction, but once it turns away from the creek it is a deathmarch. Goes of track up a washed out fire trail. Even as an experienced hiker the second section sapped all enjoyment out of the trail. Would recommend preparing for a longer hike and following the signed trail to Gheerulla Falls

Beautiful and well worth the views but start early and be well prepared!

Awesome landscapes! Hiked from Charlie Moreland end of trail through eucalypt forest, rocky creek beds, lakes, pine planted valleys and rainforest. Bell birds, cat birds, cuckoo doves and goanas all the way. Tree python and a red-bellied back snake too; one asleep, the other scared away. Very very steep going uphill at 6-9km. After about 10km I took the short cut downhill off Pitsaw Road (at 6.6km on AllTrails map) to loop back to Charlie Moreland. Very steep descent, soil so dry just slipping all over, needed to grab sticks for supports. Beware, could easily fall or turn ankle there. But made for great adventure! Doing this version of the trail was an 18km hike. I did 20km as I took a couple wrong turns, not always easy to know which trail to take, there are many crossovers. Good to have your phone charged up or take navigation kit. Watch out for 4x4s hooning around! They are not expecting hikers, I didn’t see anyone else walking. Soooo peaceful and beautiful.

really nice hiking, pretty steep at the end. beautiful little waterfall and green forest at the end.

nice walk, beautiful at the end with the waterfall and bridge, can reccomend

One of my favourite hikes to date. I personally didn't find it overly challenging - easy to moderate, but would imagine if you're not used to carrying a 17kg pack in high humidity and 30+ degree days, it could knock you around a bit, especially at this time of the year. My highlights were Nina Peak - best easily accessible views on the island, Zoe Falls and Mulligan Falls. It was really dry, most creek crossings which weren't tidal didn't have a drop. Had 2 saltwater creek crossings which were waist deep - tidal. We had to walk up to 1km round trip to find drinkable water at Little Ramsay Bay, but wasn't ever a problem. We did it in 4 days but I'll take 5 days next time to spend another day at one of the waterfalls. Don't forget your mozzie coils or they'll carry you away, make sure your tent is midgee proof :) Saw a lot more garbage at campsites than I expected, picked up as much as I could but very disappointing to see. There is a Thorsborne Trail app on the google app store which is really handy as it shows you your exact location, water collection locations - great for the ultra dry months, camping spots, tidal river crossings. We went with John at absolute north charters for the transfer. He was in hospital during our hike but he couldn't have been more helpful, calling us from his bed to make sure we were ok and giving us a complete rundown of the track/water conditions and what to expect - top bloke!!

90% of the trail is a dream - just a short and steep scramble to get down to the top of the falls.

A very nice walk which I would consider suitable for most people. The first 2km involves all of the climbing up to Turtle Rock and the remainder a beautiful walk heading down. Very nice views are found from various boulders just off the track on the way up. Will definitely do again as I feel it is a good walk for everyone of different fitness levels and a good starting point for people wanting to increase their fitness for future hikes like Lambs head just down the road. This hike is quite exposed so I'd recommend a wide brim hat.

Beautiful circuit walk which is very easy to complete. Waterfalls are stunning. Track edges are in need of some TLC from the local national parks so watch your step.

Our first experience with over night hiking. And it got us hooked. Our 6 y/o girl walked it too, all the way and while it made for slow days, it meant we could appreciate our surroundings. If you do this be prepared to carry lots of water, and swim at Zoë Falls...I think that’s what it’s called. Rockpool with stunning views to the ocean. Thank you Mrs Thorsborne, you done good

If you ever only want to do one multi day hike make it this one! Absolutely fabulous! Stunning views, solitude, enough of a challenge to make it interesting without being too tired to cook dinner and set up camp. Loved every minute of it. Just regret not swimming in the Noosa river.

From all the Great Walks this is my least favourite. It felt like they were just some walks strung together. Though camp grounds, signage and views were still stunning, hence 4 stars anyway.

Excellent example of a tru blu oz trail, not only getting detoured around closed sections some parts id consider one-way unless with a short wheel-base rock scrambler. Wasnt sure Id make it so attains adventure status.

Tough but with beautiful parts along the way

lovely walk to the waterfalls then it rained for the next several hours and the leeches came out, so didn't stop as none of the lookouts had any views. Did the entire wall in 5.15 hrs.
