What a beautiful thing to see... but completely over shadowed by an insane amount of flies. This hike was the most insufferable of any I have done...

Love this National park! Recommend to everyone! The walk is great, but do it earlier or later in the day to avoid crowds and heat of going in summer. Some flies mind be a disturbance, bring fly protecting hats or you can purchase them at the office in the park. We stayed at campground which was very cool and with great amenities. Definitely recommend!

We only walked the first 6 stages, the rest is on the list. Makes you feel as if you are the only person in the world and are treading where no one has trod before. Loved it, though certain parts can be tough and exposed. I heard there is enough water along the way these days (we walked it 13 years ago) You may even meet other people now. Very much worth doing, but be super prepared. Lots of water, extra ration of food and it CAN and DOES sometimes rain bucket loads.

if you're hiking to watch subset take the trail in a clockwise direction (the northern fork) first. it means you can walk back the easier way in the fading light.

Very different from Uluru - if had to choose this would be the one.

easy but hot. Good close up views. We did a guided tour starting just before sunrise but there are signs and story boards that give same info. You need lots of water and only one toilet and water station on the loop.

Trail was of supreme quality today.

Bloody hot even leaving early! Lots a loose rocks making it relatively hard, but spectacular views!

We did the base walk with Segway’s and it was amazing and maybe cheating but worth it! Just forgot to turn off the app! Lol

Tough on the way up, spectacular scenery

Beautiful place for sunset. Take advantage of the informative ranger talks describing the rock art.

Half of this walk is via a dirt road. It’s an okay walk but make sure u start st least 75 mins before sunset. We started 45 mins before sunset and came home in the dark - not fun! Otherwise a decent walk.

went hiking on this trail but would be great for dog walking or biking. plenty of interconnecting trails so you can make it as long or short as you like.

Easy and quick hike, definitely you need to do this trail in the afternoon to get more light between both domes. Did this after the Valley of the Winds, been a little bit disappointed, better to start with this one then the Valley of the Winds.

Amazing and breathtaking views of Kata Tjuta!!! One recommendation is to do the loop counter clockwise to avoid most of the crowd. In a beautiful sunny day your shot will be stunning. Overall moderate trail, it can be windy on the way up to Karu lookout, I just enjoyed this hike.

Beautiful trail, you can see all the faces of Uluru. If you start early in the morning (around 8:30am), you don’t need a fly net.

great quick trail, looks like people mountain bike it also. I would rate as moderate for the length. elevation gain isn't bad. took me 1h20m.

loved it .... you'll need a water bottle or 2

awesome... don't forget your fly net

well worth getting up early to see the sunrise

The Pound walk is awesome! A must do. We did it in counterclockwise direction just after sunrise. Took us little more than two hours. especially the first 2/3 of the walk is amazing.
