Almost the same hike as "planinarski dom paklenica" same lenght . When pasing Mala.Mocila and when you close to Jurasova glavica follow the path to the right a it will lead you to the main path of Velika Paklenica.

Nice trail...we did it in the summer..from the parking lot you follow the main path to the "planinarski dom" then you turn right a follow the sings inbound Mala Mocila ( some steep uphil and downhil parts). After mala Mocila you continue to Jurasova glavica and after that back to the main path in Velika Paklenica. Great photoshooting positions on this trail. aprox 7 hours easy walking with few stops ( but we went to the top to Ramica dvori - not in this trail )

Hard trail during winter...a lot of water in the river and there are parts that are not able ti pass. You can pass only through the water 20-60 cm depth ( so take reserve clothes and shoes). We did it in the winter and it took us 8.5 hours from the parking lot of Mala Paklenica to the parking lot of Velika Paklenica. During summer there is no water in the river and the hike should be much easier.

We tackled this walk on a warm day in October. Perfect weather, any hotter than 22° (ish) would have been far to hot. We walked it anti clockwise. The stretch up to the cave was steady enough. Beyond the cave and round the solar panel is where the trek changes. It was quite strenuous from this point. Take your time, watch where you're walking as the drop was quite steep at points. Scramble up the peak and soak up the stunning views! Leaving the summit is steady enough for the first 30-45 minutes. This includes a cable tied to the rock to assist for several metres. From here on, the walk is very hard on your feet and would highly recommend an ankle supported boot rather than trekking shoes as it's relentless on the underneath of your feet! It's not a constant steep decline but the terrain is very rocky. The reviews that say tackle this bit first and walk it clockwise, in my opinion, would have really taken its toll on you and your feet. When you get to the top, the last thing you want to do is the trek back to the cave, its simple too risky on tired legs. This is of course all in our opinion after having done it. Do it yourself, take care and soak in the stunning views at the top!

Hiking from 2h30-3h. Great views!

Great trail if you’re feeling adventurous! Very steep at some parts and most of the trail is pretty rocky. You have to constantly watch where you are stepping. The cave will be at the beginning if you go counter clockwise but be aware that it is only open from 10am to 1pm! If you don’t care about the cave I would actually recommend going clockwise and tackling the hardest part of the loop first before you get tired. Make sure to follow the markings! Also we saw no water whatsoever on this loop so it was either dried up or you have to take a detour to find the supposed waterfall.

Absolutely stunning views on this hike! water sources are all dried up this time of year, but the mountain and ocean views were incredible. Definitely not a trail for beginners, this one kicked out butts! Very steep and Rocky/gravel trail, be very careful coming down and make sure to wear proper footwear.

Did this route several times. Can start at beginning of Mala Paklenica in Seline or at beginning of Velika Paklenica out of Starigrad. There are parking lots at both entrances. If you come without a car, add an additional distance from bus stops in Seline or Starigrad. In that case you also do not have to loop back fully, as you do not have to pick up your car in the other entrance's parking lot, just go straight down towards the main road and get to the closest bus stop.

This trail is actually pretty strenuous, even for a decent hiker who’s is good shape. The sun hits you most of the way if you don’t get up early and beat the heat. However, the cave at the end is worth it! You must get there before 12:50 which is the final tour start time.

This trail comes in 2 parts 1. Tourist trail to far end, easy going. 2. Hikers trail via Mala Mocila, steep and overgrown in parts. We also did the offshoot to the cave at Manita Pec, highly enjoyable.

Very nice hike! For the hikers on Sunday the climb was tough, but really worth it for the view and the rocks you find up there. Possible to be done in both directions, and may be less difficult elsewhere by starting the loop clockwise, because the long descent into the pebbles with fatigue can be more dangerous if we start with the meaning described on the hike.

A very warm June day. Some welcome rain after mid day. We did the loop clockwise. Very steep first 1/4, wonderful views on the way up and from the top. Last 3 Km was on cobble stone road but very rough as rocks were mostly the size of volley balls.

I filmed portions of the hike. Watch the video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1fMogwlzwJc&t=14s

Curious on what you'll see during the hike? Here are the portions I filmed on this hike. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1fMogwlzwJc&t=21s
