Nice trail for the views, but repetitive elevating paths. Glad it was only short!

I'm an avid hiker and just did Tour de Mont Blanc and parts of Dolomites this month but the intensity of beauty of this trail was nothing I've ever seen. Almost as if the whole park was artificially landscaped in perfection. I arrived to my hotel that's located inside of the park at 4pm the day before I purchased the one day park pass. And found out the hotel validates further days of park pass after your initial purchase while you are staying which means you only need to buy one day and if you want 2nd or 3rd day pass while staying hotel it's free. I walked up to the park at 5pm to get some info for my next day hike and the staff let me enter the park for free as there were only 2 hrs left till it closes. Around 1hr into the K loop pass P1, I saw first set of travertine walking through boardwalk all to myself! I couldn't believe the prestine turquoise watered lakes, streams and water falls. The next morning I hiked the entire loop. There were mass crowds around each parking lots or boat stops. Beyond that hardly anyone on the trail. Very easy to navigate, just follow the sign K and this app. Well kept, clean, quite flat trail. It took about 4 hrs stopping numerous pictures. Half of trails were shaded and breezy.

Beautiful and for a bigger part peaceful trek / run. Hard to do it in a single day, expect to run if you want to manage. If you plan to do it I recommend to buy the trail diary and collect the stamps along the way, once you have them all there's a ceremony and they appoint you with a badge.

Beautiful trail, especially where the most touristic trails don’t mingle with this one. You’ll see most of the park, including the highlights. Keep in mind that it can be really busy and crowded at certain spots. If you want to avoid this, get to the park first thing in the morning!

This was a wonderful hike! It is moderate to difficult, some technical sections and lots of elevation gain but mostly over time. The loop is great because get so many wonderful views. Would definitely recommend if you are in the area. There is a little shade but mostly in the sun. There are some lizards, grasshoppers, butterflies and even praying mantises. Of course flies too.. It’s windy at the top.

Excellent views during the upper stretches of the trail, and the grade is very gradual. Downside: you can hear the road below for most of the hike. When you pop over the summit, you see Bosnia and Herzegovina to the east.

We started in old town and hiked to the top for sunset (then took the cable car down). Not too difficult but has some loose rocks to dig through on the way up. Lovely views of the seas, old city, and islands all around Dubrovnik.

very cool trail, lots of points of interest along the way. ends up as a loop to the peak so endless scenery. did in august.. it was hot but there was enough shade to be comfortable. bring lots of water but there are 3 spots to fill up along the way and that mtn well water is delicious! I can see Bosnia from here!

I did the northern part of the loop first, and it was fine, nice wide heavily used trail not far from people’s houses. It’s not marked at all, and there are a lot of side trails going off, so I got lost off trail once or twice in the first part, but found my way through the app map. The view is great! Nice picnic spot, there were a few people there, families. The second half of the trail was not marked and went through a meadow. The meadow was flooded with mud and also part pond. I couldn’t find the trail, I crossed back and forth a lot trying to find my way using the app map, but it was a mess and my dot was everywhere. Finally I just gave up and walked straight through to where I thought the street might be, completely soaking my shoes and feet in water to do so. Found the end of the trail through an overgrown bush, but it wasn’t particularly fun. I went in early June. Perhaps it is better in the middle of the summer when it’s dryer. You could also skip the second half and just keep going back through the woods. It would be more enjoyable.

Unbelievable views of Dubrovnik but go early in the morning or late afternoon and bring water as it gets very hot with little to no shade for most of the hike!
